My CE4 V3 was working great when I first got it. I was amazed and it had totally renewed my faith in tanks (I've been using a Phoenix RBA before this and loving it). About a week or two in on the same coil I got no flavor. So I decided to rebuild the coil, 5 rebuilt heads later and a number of tips and tricks and surprise surprise... still tastes like burning silica. I had the same problem with my ViVi Nova but it seems to be working fine now, I haven't done anything different between the two and it is just not working. I think these (as are the ViVi Novas) just a matter of complete and utter -Luck-. I'm throwing it in my rebuildable box and maybe someone somewhere will find a 100% cure for these. I have tried tweaking, I've tried different style of heads, I've tried modded caps, big wicks, small wicks, long wicks, thin wicks, tight coils, loose coils, you name it I've wasted 10ft of Kanthal and 20ft of Silica trying it. Even placing an additional piece of wick on top did absolutely nothing. I actually right before this occurred had an order out for another Clearomizer of the same brand but thankfully the wonderful folks at Discount Vapers got my e-mail before shipping it (in fact I got an e-mail at 10 at night I was quite pleasantly surprised as it was only like minutes after I e-mailed them) and were able to change it to a Kanger MT3. I've heard nothing but good things about the Kanger clearomizers and I'm hoping that the simple fact that they do not rely on capillary action to wick that they will be a lot better. I'm losing my faith in Vision period.

This is interesting I would love to pick up this convo.
I am new into this and already experiencing the same. Even B4 rebuilding . I have experienced , read and hear folks say that often its a break in period . I bought a couple of knock offs and they tasted like crap .never wicked well either.

. Then I got a few of the CE4 ver 3 better than the knock offs but no where like my Mini Vivi Nova however I have primo juice in that tank so how can ya compare to an Awesome vape...

anyways I would like to hear more on success failures of ALL CLEROS cuz I lost my faith in all of them so far ( besides my first tank ) Mostly after a BAD experience with my first cardo's and tube tanks , so I went to clearo's and they were a bit better. But I know its a matter of dialing it in .

Still learning and love to know how to set them up properly preferable on my Vivi nova and my 2 new Kanger T3 bottom coil clearo,s that will open tonight when I get home. excited again!!!!!

..Love to know how to dial them in as well as best way to set them up break in and rebuild tricks
TIA

vape on man :vapor:
