I attached a 510 extender to my kGo and then popped on a Stardust just to see how much it'd change the draw. Well, the draw is a lot lighter and airy now, which isn't necessarily bad, but I think I preferred it more without the extender. Plus, it does not look as good, since there's a gap between the battery and Stardust now with the extender. Sooo.. when i tried to remove the extender, I realize it's screwed into the inside of the Stardust thread, and I can't seem to remove them. Grr... so I kind of just wasted an extender and this Stardust will always be attached to it. I tried using some pliers but they aren't small enough to fit and all I ended up doing was pulling out the little metal rod inside the extender.

i had the burnt taste with one of the clearomizers that i have with the short wick, but that was after vaping some dark ejuice that had cinnamon.. i stopped using that one, filled and shook with water a couple of times, let it dry overnight and used it today and now its like brand new.. burnt taste is dependent on the ejuice liquid flavor and ratio.. some ejuice gives a bad flavor after a while.

on the other hand i did have a clearomizer blank out on first connection.. took 2 pulls and there was barely any vapor, and then the third pull it doesnt even work at all.. dont know whats up with that.

same thing happened to to me. I took my vision apart (wick disappeared inside anyway) just to get my adapter back. It did it again, although careful not to screw my adapter on too tight or the vision, still got stick in there. But this time I got a fix. I used one of those vegetable rubber bands that is thick. It's just enough to slip under the vision and the battery connection. I used my fingernails (and they aren't long) to hold it in place in one spot and twisted/turned opposite direction with the vision. It unscrewed right off without adapter. try it, couldn't hurt right? now I keep a rubber band in my kit, lol
forgot to add...it might be easier to screw the vision back on the battery for leverage.

OMG I just tooted on my nearly new Stardust and got a burnt taste. I found this thread, unscrewed the cap just a tad because it was on super tight and like magic no more burnt taste. Yay !

Daniel can u explain which cap you unscrewed ? Are you talking about the mouthpiece? I am getting burnt hits from
all my startdusts. Even the long wicked ones. I have cleaned them and let them air dry, reflilled them, still getting
the burnt taste.

I had this same prob today. Im new to cartos and clearos. Love the boge cartos but hate constantly refilling them. Broke out my new ce4 v2 today and filled it and it tasted burnt. Whats funny is i dumped out the juice and put in new juice same flavor and now it tastes fine. I hope it stays this way. I really like the idea of them

I am dry running all my setups for a 4 day convention.

Tried this too, and it worked. Unscrew the drip tip just a bit and the flavour improves significantly! Nice, Daniel!

I've been using stardusts, LR and STD, on my ego twist batts and use mostly VG juices. I get a burnt taste if I dial up to the 4.8 with some juices. Have to keep mine around 4 or less to get a decent taste most of the time, and make sure the tank is tipped or lay it down and turn it at times so that the wicks always stay moistened with juice. Been thinking of trying clearos with longer wicks to see if those work better.

You fill the hole in the top spike?

I guess that's like dripping on the atomiser but...but... don't you get liquid in your mouth when you take a draw? Have you tried loosening or taking off the mouth piece and then screwing it back on? There might be an air vacuum issue with the one you've got...

I once received an SR Stardust that was giving burnt hits and just sent it back for replacement. I reckon there's always some that are defective in any batch.

I'm currently using a LR Stardust and it's working okay but I can't really tell the difference between it and the SR version. They're both the same to me on an Ego battery...

I had the same type of problem with an LR and STD seeming the same but it's because they ARE the same  LOL The vendor I ordered those 2 from sent me the same, yet I ordered one STD and one LR  both were clear and no identifiable markings to indicate which was LR or STD....When I contacted that vendor, explaining that both were the same I received NO REPLY... so, no more business from them! Every other vendor that I order from, after that happened, now I order certain colors in LR and different colors or clear in STD, just so I can know and tell the difference... and they really are different, vape, throat hit, taste, all completely different when testing on same voltage batts. Lesson learned!

Yes so true about some juices just give a bad flavor, sometimes there's still half juice in there but the taste goes bad . I have also gotten a dud when I had a few draws everything was great then suddenly dead. I contacted that vendor and they sent me immediate replacement. They'll get lots more business from me for sure. I liked their juices, just not their clearomizer LOL (Some vendors don't respond at all when I email with a question, so they get no repeat business from me! Some vendors respond and offer no advice, just sort of an "oh well, try something else!" sheesh)

I've experienced burnt taste on my CE4s before, usually at over 4 volts. I bout 5 of em cuz I liked the option of color coding flavor and they were cheap. After trying the Kanger T2's, T3's, and Min Vivi Nova I've decided the CE4s are quite inferior IMO. Considering the fact that the Vivi's and T2/T3s have replaceable heads at a decent price, it's actually more cost effective in the long run, and I haven't had any leaking issues on the vivi or the T3 (had leaking once in the T2) I'm sticking with those for now. I haven't tried the rebuildable Stardusts yet but I don't really need to add to my collection right now after all my newbie shopping sprees :p If you haven't checked out the Vivi Novas yet I highly recommend them, the vapor and flavor is great and the design makes for extremely easy cleaning/filling.

Thought I would add my meaningless babble to the thread. I went through 2 new latest and greatest Stardust Clearomizers in just over 24 hours. Filled them up, let them soak for a while and at 3.7 volts both on a Twist not over vaping or even moderatly vaping they both taste like a piece of burning toilet paper with some juice. Upon inspection both have charred wicks. Back to dripping I go.
I will never buy these crap laden pieces of sh** again. In fact I have placed them with the rest of the vaping items I have wasted money on and plan at some point to destroy all of it in a firey explosion.

I abandoned my eGo-C cones & tanks 6 months ago in favor of these and have never looked back.
I use the 2.1 - 2.4 ohm models with a standard eGo type battery (3.7v) with Hangseng RY4.
I used to rinse between every tank due to burnt taste but have turned to dumping the last 0.2 ml instead. When the liquid is down to the .2 - .3 level, I remove the tip, tilt it down, let it drip out, and then shake it like a thermometer to get the rest out. Then refill and vape on. No burnt taste!
I don't know about the darker juices, I suspect YMMV but it really works for me.
Mine last about 6 weeks until the hit loses punch then I trash it and use a new one.
I used to use a DCT but the hit of these is far better than the 1.25 ohm carto refills I used with them.

I don't have experience with 50/50 liquid as I only used 80/20. The SR version will burn as less wattage on your ego which should mean you use less liquid, but if then you are just using it more then you will still use possible the same amount of juice. The wick can't keep up supplying juice to the coil. The priming meant that you draw on it some without pressing the button. The idea is that this action would create a vacuum to draw more liquid from the wick to the coil. In the end though it could be that this product is not really good for you.

From vaporgod.com they have this note in their description:

*** It's very important to keep these clearomizers filled at least 1/3 to 1/2 way. The wicks are located near the top of the device. You want to keep those wicks wet. To prevent dry hits simply flip the device upside down every so often to completely soak the wicks.

*** Not recommended for really thick high VG content liquids.

WOW!! Drawing on it without pushing the button really worked for me. Also, the trick of not tightly twisting on the driptip and connection also worked. It was such an easy fix, and I was ready to throw in the towel because my experience was so horrible. Great for awhile and then just peppery, burnt yuckiness. I was always careful to keep the wicks wet as well, but this simple task was just perfect. I am also going to try an SR to see if there is any difference. It's a good start for me! :vapor:

FYI Kgo 1100mah standard battery. I can say now "I love the stardusts."

why isn't any tank system produce a quality vape.. what am I missing ?
well I do have Kanger T3 bottom feeders and a few Kanger CE4 on the way lets se how that fairs compared to vission
maybe I got all aftermarket crap Maybe I need to build an ATTY
