I have a couple (3) atties in rotation. I vape 1/soak 1 in PGA/ last 1 is airdrying. I blow them out after removing from PV and removing from PGA.

I've been able to vape different flavors on one atty tho. I wouldn't say it's neccessary to do a thorough clean between flavors. These things don't hold on to much flavor after the next 3-6 drops (assuming you're dripping.

When switching between juices I don't do anything besides blow them out, to time consuming. That gets most of the previous juice out and if you're dripping after a few cycles the old will be completely gone unless it was a pesky strong flavor then it may take a bit longer but it really isn't an issue.

I drip exclusivley because I change flavors all day long.I typically take 5 bottles of juice with me to work! I use a 3 hole dripping atomizer and all I do is blow it out before I change flavors. Some flavors linger for a few puffs but nothing annoying. Also, I use a newly cleaned atomizer each day. I have several so I only have to do heavy duty cleaning a couple times a week. Then I'm RICH with squeeky clean atomizers! :)

Usually I don't even have to blow it out. Most flavors I get don't linger. However, in the rare case they do I blow them out. If that doesn't work I do a dry burn. If that doesn't help I put them in hot water for a bit then do a dry burn. If that doesn't work then I put straight vg into them and vape that. Finally if that doesn't work, I get a new atomizer. the end

Thanks for all the replies. I am definately going to have to do something with the "icky" flavor atomizer, so, with atomizers, after running them under water, I can pretty much just use them right away? No waiting for them to dry off? I guess that makes sense since there isn't any batting like in cartos. That's not too bad. Maybe just a good rinsing will get rid of the nasty lingering aroma in that one.

When you say prime good, you mean with e-juice right, not that primer stuff the atty's get shipped in right? Or do I have to buy something special for after washing them?

(Sorry for all the questions, these are the first atty's I've used).

Just tonight I learned the value of cleaning my atty between flavors. If I didn't clean my atty, the tastes of everything I vaped before were all present in the taste, and let me say that it can get quite disgusting and absolutely ruins the taste of any new flavor you might try to use.

Here is what i did that worked wonders, its relatively quick and doesn't require anything too out of the ordinary.

I simply got one of my Arrowhead water bottles (1 pint), grabbed a knife, and jammed it into the cap and turned. What this did was open up a small hole, small enough for me to stick the .... end of my atty in (the screw portion with the majority of the atty sticking out above the cap). It was far from being a total seal, but that didn't matter. Ideally you could just drill it out to roughly the size of your atty threads, but my drills battery was dead, so I improvised.

Then I just got hot tap water (from the faucet) and squeezed the bottle of hot water through the atty once or twice (twice seems to be acceptably good).

After running the hot water through the atty, I took it out, dried off the outside then grabbed some toilet paper to gather up any residual water from inside the atty (I just wadded up the paper and put it in the atty and blew into it).

After blowing out the majority of the remaining water from the atty, I then dry burned it a few times to further dry it up (at this point you shouldn't see any smoke if the atty is truly clean, should just be warm air you suck in).

After this 95% or more of the flavored juice smell/taste you previously used will be gone, leaving you with a nice fresh atty to use with a new flavor. It takes about 5 minuets (maybe less) and works amazingly well for how simple the procedure is. I'm sure with a more seasoned atty it will require more robust cleaning methods, but my attys are all pretty new, so using this process proved easy to get them clean again.

Hope that helps. :2cool:

Of the two atty's I have (from the original order, waiting on my mail today to increase my supply, lol) the one is fine with just blowing it out, but the second one I used to try a sample juice that I personally (nothing against the company, I love their other juices) REALLY can't stand. I mean gag and want to puke can't stand (no it's not crab juice, lol). I tried blowing, and burning, but the aroma lingers. I haven't even tried tasting anything on it, just the aroma on the atty makes me nauseous. I think that one will have to be cleaned, or thrown out, haha.
