Well. An update. I decided to just try and blow the atty out and then cook off the remaining flavor. MISTAKE. I ended up burning the wicking material up and the atomizer took a nice swim in some CC HB as I was trying to get rid of the burnt taste. Ended up having to de-wick and de-bridge the atty. Which actually made it even better. I get a warmer more flavorful vape now. I was just gonna trash it but decided to let it sit overnight with some liquid in it. I was still getting a bit of a burnt taste even after the de-bridging/de-wicking. But an overnight steep seemed to fix that. I also notice that it makes it much more like smoking a real cig now, because I only have to take a short drag but end up with loads of flavorful vapor! Cool. I ordered some LR 510 atties though, just to be safe.

To be honest, if the flavors are similar, I am unlikely to clean out the atty between flavor changes. I do have about a dozen attys for my M401 batteries and 5 for the KGO batteries, so it is not as if I am lacking for atomizers to use. (And this does not begin to count the cartomizers I have for the KGO batteries).

But, anyhoo, when I start to run low on "clean" atomizers, I just rinse them really, really well with scalding hot water, then let soak them overnight in PGA; follow with a quick rinse and hard blow to clear out the water, then let them sit to dry overnight.

Works a treat and they are as good as new afterward!

What I am doing now is to use something called 'Atomizer Refresher' from Want2Vape, which works quite well on not exceedingly persistent scents (hot cinnamon, desert ship, stuff like that really requires soda and vinegar washing :blink:
You drop a few drops in and vaporize it a bit, and then it's ready for the next flavour. Or even fill the atty and leave overnight, but honestly for that I would just use soda and vinegar much cheaper.
Janty full VG RY4 does refresh atomizers a bit too, but I love it too much for vaping it mixed with remains of other stuff :)

In general I try and keeping different attys for different types of vapes.

I just love your profile image, Clint in that movie is one of my favourites movie characters ever :}
