Don't know about that method. Have you tried just blowing the atty out dry, and maybe performing a dry burn for a sec or two? I've never had much success cleaning atty's in any type of fluid. Someone else may chime in here in a sec that has done the method you speak of with some better advice. Good luck!

Rinse with warm water, blow it dry. Dry burn for a couple of seconds. Rinse again with warm water, blow it dry again, stick it on the batt and roll on.

Works for me. No need to dry overnight, soak in alcohols and such... it works and it is fast.

that is my cleaning method also. I actually rotate 2 attys and clean once a week, so they have a week to "dry" I never thought they needed it because the dry burn shows they were ready immediately. I started vaping 2 months ago and these 2 attys are the only ones I have used. Just de-bridged a week ago and they work even better!

I myself have tried many of the methods said to be good for cleaning attys with different liquids and found that it seems to shorten the life on them with that being said i've also had awful liquids that I wouldn't want to ever taste in any way again and I would just use around 2ml of rubbing alcohol let drain through and the ran under hot water and blown out and left to dry for a while and found its been very effective but again this is just what worked for me.

Chiming in here----
I usually blow my atomizers out every night and leave on a paper towel to drain. If one gets real stiff to pull/vape I will use Ever Clear, about 2ml and run it through a few times followed with very hot distilled water, about 2mls again. Do this a couple times and blow out as much as I can. Then shake a few times, hit the button once or twice, drip a few drops of liquid and good to go.
I have quit the soak, alcohol and all the other items I have read. This works for me and I only do it when the atomizer gets that hard to pull thing going on.
