Cleaning auto batteries

I am both ......ed and a genius. :)

I had a couple automatic batteries that were acting strange, and I couldn't figure out why. They became really sensitive. Even slightly moving it would set them off! I couldn't figure out what was wrong.

I figured I would try to spray some canned air (with the straw tip) into the hole on the battery (metal threaded connection side). Holy crap, liquid came out the LED end! I thought nothing of it til I smelled it. Definitely RY4. 8-o

More importantly, now the battery works great! :D

Do not use this if your batteries are working fine though! You're pushing liquid through electronics, and it is a last resort cleaning technique.

Also, this is does not apply to manual batteries, as they are sealed.
