I consider them disposable. I went thru about 5 a week and when they started clogging up I just thru them out--at $7.95 for a pack of 5 it was a small investment.

Sorry, I know that doesn't answer your question specifically, but boiling them and what not never seems to bring them back. If you are looking for optimum taste and performance, consider them disposable. And yes, boiling them people do have similar results.

I cleaned my Boge cartos by boiling in water for about 5 minutes and allowing to dry 24 hrs or more.

Several of them no longer work now. Anyone have problems when cleaning them? I've just run them under water to clean them before and no issues there, but boiling them seemed to kill them.

Sounds like you had a winning formula that worked for you before the boiling method...eh? I did not have very favorable results after boiling cartomizers. What has worked the best for me is flushing the cartomizers out with a oral syringe often used for administering medicine to babies.

(avaliable in just about any drugstore).
The method is well illustrated in this video.

I modified this method slightly by using distilled water and a larger sized syringe as it seem to work even better! All of the cartomizers I cleaned worked great afterwards! Minimal drying was needed as the dry pump worked well to get out any excess water.

Ultimately, I still prefer a brand new cartomizer over a used one (who wouldn't?)though it is still nice to have an option particularly if your experimenting with a new e-liquid or DIY juice and do not want to take a chance on fouling up a brand new cart in the event the juice is all not that great after filling. Regardless, anything that saves a few bucks is at least worth trying once to see if it is worth your time?

I have tried several methods of cleaning cartomizers to be reused again and none of them worked as well as this method in conjunction with using distilled or filttered water.

Hope this was helpful?
