Cleaning bottle pipettes

Bottles are not cheap - at least not where I come from - and in any case I don't like throwing out perfectly good stuff. It's easy to clean a bottle but how does one go about cleaning it's pipette. Some, if not all, flavours are very strong and won't go away just by rinsing. How do you go about cleaning them?

Rinsing works fine even some soapy water is OK. As long as it's clean and dry I don't worry about the odor of the previous flavor. I've never seen an odor effect the out come of my next mix.

I usually soak mine in a 91% isopropyl water mixture for 24 hrs. It's probably overkill, but I'm nuts.

Thanks. Probably soaking an a water/vinegar solution would work to.

Now for the next question - how do you dry them? just shake them out and let them air dry?

Yep that's how I dry them. Hmmm vinegar is less expensive. I'll try that. Thanks !
