Cleaning bottles (Boge Revolution 2.1)

Hi,

I added some menthol juice in my Boge Revolution v2.1 bottle. I didn't like it much (not sure why I put it in the bottle, guess I was just anxious to try out the system). Now the bottle smells like menthol. I tried filling it with hot water a couple of times, and even soaking it in some cheap Vodka, but it keeps smelling like menthol.

I don't want to put in other juice and find it tastes like menthol - so how do I get rid of that smell?

Also, the device itself smells like menthol, but I'm hoping that will go away by itself soon...

Try a solution of baking soda + vinegar and optionally add a couple of drops of lemon juice.
Note: this mixture will fizz and bubble up so do this over the sink! Try adding baking soda to the bottle first and carefully pour a little vinegar in - wait for the bubbling to subside - shake it up - repeat until it no longer fizzes. Rinse with water and it should be good as new! Good luck!
