Whatever you do copper and brass will begin to tarnish as soon as you finish polishing them.

A clear coat of laquor (nether I or my computer know how to spell it) will help but it is soft and will scratch and the mod will tarnish where it scratches and you will have to take all the coating off to polish it again.

For me it is more trouble than it is worth and I have learned to embrace the patina. Except on the threads where I do clean and then use noalox to help the conductivity.

Cleaning time..
1. Submerge in Tarn-X
2. Coat with Brasso
3. Polish off the Brasso coating
4. Rub vigorously with a small wad of Nevr-Dull until the entire surface turns black
5. Polish black residue off of surface to reveal bright finish
6. Reassemble
7. Vape the F%€K out of it!!

Thanks everyone. I have experience with copper mods but mostly clones that are a polished finish and none have had a brushed finish. I use mothers mag and aluminum Polish on them and it works wonders. Best for making polished mods super shiny and kinda slows down the patina. I have had an Oros mod about a month now and as damn expensive as it was I didn't want to risk ruining the brushed finish on it with the mothers. I really like brushed finishes cuz they aren't as much of a fingerprint magnet so I just wanted to see what everyone else uses on their brushed mods and know for a fact it will keep the brushed finish.
