Hello all,

I've done this pretty much since I started vaping. Just clean them out under hot water blowing them out a few times then resoaking. After that I use my little air compressor and set it to 25/30 psi and blow the cartomizer clean and dry. I know not everyone has an air compressor but still, anyone else try this?

I clean my carto's the same way, rinsing in water, blowing hard top end down so the water comes out of the threaded end, repeat 5-6 times until the filling is white and fluffy again. Joye eGo/ carto's from Ikenvape.

Blowing really hard for about 5 minutes or so seems to get it dry enough. Once it seems dry I just fill it up and vape away. Haven't thought to take the compressor to it.. may try this. At least it would be faster. :D

Here's my cleaning process....

Pop off rubber end (BOGE carto)
Place silicon sleeve on threaded (atty) end
Fill with 91% alcohol & let sit for about 5-10 minutes

Remove silicon sleeve...
Place carto on a special "tube" which attaches to (135 degree) hot water tap
Purge water through for about 20-30 seconds...

Whip several times & blow through...
Fill with alcohol again....
Blow through until I feel no mist from the atty hole..

When there's no "old-juice" smell... no alcohol smell, its ready to fill

Sorry to take this *slightly* off topic but it seems to be the right group of vapers to ask. I just started using carto's and am quite enjoying them thus far. How long do you guys get out a carto until it dies? I've heard they don't last as long as standard atty/cart combinations and want to make sure I have enough on hand. My normal atty's last about a month on average but really like the cart in the 3 days I've been using one.

I liked my first 5-pack of Boge cartos so much, I ordered 4 more packs to have on hand.
I've been rotating (3) cartos, refilling daily & cleaning every few days since about ~10 days ago.

(1) is still in the wrapping, and I did burn the very first one I "under-filled"... But since I learned that hard lesson, I keep them topped up, and clean (as above) soon as there is the slightest hint of weirdness...

I'm still a noob (just got my Cig-Counter today) but I have not noticed any degradation in performance, vapor production, nor capacity yet.... I did notice however, the burned one retained the yuck taste even after cleaning... And the threads/atty does not "pop" off as they do on plastic ones.... So I have not been able to revive it.... I just set it aside to dissect later.
