So I have 5 kanger coils that I've rinsed in hot water, and let soak in vodka for two days, Out of the vodka and rinsed in warm water again....that's where I'm at.
I assume next is to take the tops off (I have rebuilt coils before), remove flavor coils and dry burn blow off any "ash" and I'll be good to go?

Thank y'all

It sounds like you are on the right track, but I would just add that you may want to watch a youtube video on dry burning if you new to it so you don't fry your coil like I did when first starting out

Also, I would suggest a final rinse after the dry burn to get rid of any residual burnt/ashy taste. Some might suggest more vodka for this, but I always just use hot water and it works fine. I've heard you're supposed to let it dry for a long time after this - like over night - but I usually just blot everything as well as possible with paper towels. Then I'll put a couple drops of juice directly on the regular and flavor wicks, and filler up and go! Sometimes I'll get a little sizzling and popping while the extra water in the wick evaporates, but it's fine after a few puffs.

I would also suggest rinsing the tank itself (naturally) and the flavor wick, or you can replace the flavor wick each time. Again, I just use hot water for this part with the spray nozzle on the sink for some high pressure - but be careful if you rinse the flavor wick like this since that little sucker will easily disintegrate or get washed completely down the drain if you don't have a good grip on one end.

Final thought: If you're using a ProTank, it's the little rubber gasket that retains the most flavor and smell IMHO, so be sure to remove it and rinse it well.

All sounds good.

I find that the flavor wicks usually need to be replaced. You can use your preferred wick material. Kangers use 2 1mm strands, some of the Davide's take 3.

But I use cotton yarn for flavor wicks, but recoil with silica main wicks, so I can dry burn a few times before recoiling.
