Cleaning Kayfun center piece.

After months of use of my kayfun , I notice the clear center piece isn't very clear anymore. It's more of a smokey yellow color. I've tried using soap and water and letting it sit in alcohol with no luck of getting the stains off. I'm afraid to boil it because of possible warping or melting. I'm assuming its made of Pyrex and I don't know if it can handle boiling temperatures or even if it would get the yellow stain off. I've been tempted to use bleach on it, but then again I don't think that's a good idea either.

It's not pyrex, it's plastic. Inexpensive replacements are available, especially if you don't mind ordering from fasttech.
