OK, after some reading around i tried to clean a njoy duo Cartomizer. And it didnt went very well.

Everyone says to remove the plastic "cap" in the biginning of the carto, but the truth is.... i wasnt able to remove it. It was stuck there. Eventualy i did remove it, but i broke the plastic around. Another one to the garbage.

Anyway, anyone knows if i can put them in boiling water with that cap on it? will it be cleaned that way?

thanks for your help.

I used to use those things, and when I realized those things are incredibly expensive to replace I tried refilling them as well. It won't work well, but if you must give it a try, I recommend not even trying to take that cap off, its glued in and will not come out without completely mangling it. What I used to do is screw the carto onto the battery and give it a good wiggle and pull. The plastic cover will come off and you can add liquid directly to the filler.

I did try to wash the filler but it never worked for me, it did work well when I would simply add the liquid to whatever was left in the filler.

But ultimately I would recommend buying cartomizers which are designed to be refilled/washed. I used to get mine from VaporKings. I ultimately got very frustrated with the njoy and upgraded to an eGo, which I highly recommend.

Hope this helps! Happy vaping =)

I would imagine it would work, the liquid will dissipate when it comes in contact with water. I never tried boiling one, but I see no reason for it not to work. I would just be sure to blow it out when you take it out of the water to make sure you get it all out. It may be tricky getting out all the liquid with such small holes for it to get out.

My suggestions is to change cartos to ones that you can clean alot easier. Boge soft tips are very easy to use and fill
and clean. Only one soft rubber cap to remove to fill or clean.
I have tried cleaning cartos a few times and to me, just was not worth the overall effort, especially using the boiling water.
I only rinse my cartos about every 3 days with PGA everclear and blow out. I do not let them dry out totally and use them within 2 hours or so. After a couple times of this and 6 days of use, I trash them. They accumilate too much junk that
cannot be removed and end up having to suck soo hard to get any type of vapor production.

Just my thoughts. I wish the best for you in whatever you decide.
