I read in another post that someone used polident to clean their button assembly for their ggts. I was wondering if it can be done for the aluminum variety?
I would be afraid. I never tried this but I do know you have to be careful of the finish. The denture tablets might be corrosive on aluminum The least abrasive cleaner the better for me. I use the Cape Cd Cleaning cloths. Mothers makes it shiny but is very abrasive. I like my logo and don't want to lose it.
I assume that it is aluminum? GooGone is a citrus acid based cleaner that is very aluminum friendly. Spray it on, and rinse it off.
Denture cleaner should be plenty gentle enough for aluminum.
Both of these products are only good for cleaning, not polishing.
