Once they're clean, make sure they're completely dry before storing and using them. Blow them out and do a thermometer shake to get as much water out as possible, then leave 'em standing with the open end up for a couple days. I stand them up on top of a light bulb for 15 min, but it's only a couple at a time. With this whopping batch, a food dehydrator or a little while in an oven might be handy! I hope you get a lot of good ones!

Hey DB.. that looks awesome! Lots of people say not to bother cleaning them, but it really isn't hard to do, and if you can get a decent second life out of them, why not?? I made a drying rack out of a plastic tub lid, cut Xs in it, push the carto through and put them on a heat vent.. dry as a bone in a day! Once in a while I'll find one that I've cleaned that's dead.. but for the most part,, they work again. I hate that funky old juice smell when I clean them though,,, still worth it to me.

I at one point was on a boiling kick with my used cartos but the flavor was always off to me so I stopped. But one thing I did do to dry them more quickly was put them in a dry clean sock and then put them in my dryer. Usually 4 per sock, tie a overhand knot on it and run on a medium heat cycle. Cut drying time dramatically. Maybe give it a shot :)

Hi,
We have been using 95 proof everclear drom the liquor store.
We put the old carts, Smokeless image, 510 and eGo Dual Coil Cartomizer in a mason jar, half filled with the everclear, and seal it up.
Next day take them out and put then in a colander that is sitting in a blowl, after blowing out the excess alcohol.
24 hours later the alcohol has evaporated from the carts and they are ready to fill.
We just keep doing that until the cart stops working.
