Old Empty Bottles

OK here is a dumb question- probably has been asked in the past, but sometimes searching the forum can be a little -um- daunting... here's the question:

What is the best way to clean empty bottles of juice so they can be reused? Boiling? Dishwasher? or just pitch them?

I know it is a dumb question- but my brain is on overload

No empties yet, but will have one soon!

I just wash w/soap and water and reuse for DIY. Other place in freezer to get smell out or use baking powder or vinegar.

ok thanks- didnt know if there were any tricks to get a paper towel or something down into the bottles.

After rinsing them out you can use a Q Tip to reach up in them and dry them if you need them fast or I just place mine over my computer fan, it's slower but works.

Yep, I wash them them in hot soapy water, just as if washing dishes, and rinse two or three times for good measure then let them dry for 24 hrs. or so. The 3 or 5 ml sampler bottles are great to add your favorite juice for a day trip. Easier to carry.
