As far as I know - and I'm just a newb who's done some research and has a similar setup as you - the standard CE4 clearos aren't meant to be cleaned. Unless you got a rebuildable, they should last you about 2-3 weeks of use before you toss and replace.

If there is actually a way to clean it, prolonging its life, I'd love to hear it!

Something I discovered about 20 minutes ago- I learned to put distilled water in a microwave safe dish and heat it up. Take dish out of microwave then throw tank in hot water. Threw my disassembled Vi Vi Nova in there. After about 3 minutes I went to pull the tank and it felt like soft vinyl tubing. Long story short- be careful with hot water and plastic parts. Luckily I noticed quickly and reheated the tank in the water to soften it again then installed the end caps back on to keep the round shape. Initially I had squeezed one side and "ovaled" the end.

Hello everyone

I've been vaping now for 3 months and love it. I've recently bought a eGo clone battery with standard CE4 clearos and was wondering how to clean them to prolong their life. Any tips?

Many thanks in advance :)

I used to use those ones exclusively for a while. I remember when they used to start to taste bad I would just rinse them under hot water for a bit and then let them sit out for a day or two, I never had any problems with this. Some people use alcohol so they dry faster and don't leave anything behind, but I've never had problems with hot water.
