Cleaning?

What you chaps use to clean your toys?
I normally use vodka at overseas, but it cost so much over here.
Have been thinking of investing an ultrasonic cleaner. Will they work well with just water?

Why not? we've been drinking water and washing our body with it our whole life.

The answer is yes, that is all I use with a blow after with compressed air. If I am cleanining machine oils ouy of new item I will ultrasound in isopropyl alcohol and then water, works well.

ultrasonic cleaners require a specific solution for them to work perfectly with stainless steel and make them look shiny as hell.

however, they won't work with brass/copper and will only make their colours drop

I brought a cheap ultrasonic cleaner, tried it with isopropyl alcohol then water.
A rub using cotton bud still show sign of machine oil... I resolve to the good old detergent.

No need to remove seals.
I've tried it with isopropyl alcohol & water...it does did a bit of cleaning, but nothing miracle.

I suggest to have different tanks for different type of juice, like milky/creamy juices dont share the same tank as fruity juices

Not really necessary, detergent & water with some effort would clean up machine oil for new mod/rba.
I'm a mech user, hence the chord of brushing clean contact point is pretty often.
By then the "high tech" stuff I've brought did not really do any better than a old toothbrush and toothpaste.

definitely not a need.
only used an ultrasonic cleaner twice and the only reason i did was because i have it readily available.

Not really so "hi tech" or even expensive.. its like $20-30+

Can use it to wash tank or even your glasses, watches, jewelleries..
