CleanSmoke 15 day trial

Hello everyone. I hate to say it but I actually fell for an ad on a web site. It was for an ecig call CleanSmoke at cleansmokelife dot com. I ordered it on Jan 1 (no quitting was not a resolution just a 20 year ordeal). I finally got them delivered on the 15th. The biggest issue I have is that reading the fine print on the web site, they will send you another 30 day supply at day 13 of your free trial unless you cancel before that day (that includes shipping time). So by the time my free trial arrived they should have shipped another 30 day supply. Either way I know I'm going to pay too much for this second shipment but here are the questions.

1) Has anyone else around here dealt with this company?
2) Is the e-cig they sell any good or am I just over paying?
3) Does any one know what type of e-cig they are selling?

Next month I think I'll try out the Power Pal PCC e-cig delux from electronic-cigz dot com.

Return to sender as soon as it comes! Dispute your credit card immediately as it will be an endless battle from what I've read. Do some research on the forum for a real PV. best of luck!

Sorry to hear you fell for one too. I fell for one called Knight Sticks. At the time I ordered I was so ignorant ... I wasn't aware that there were dozens of other choices, and that e-cigs is a full blown industry.

Well, the package was delivered Friday, and will be on the way back to them on Tuesday (PO is closed Monday). I understand now that these "Trial Offer" deals are all scams, with fine print which includes an auto shipping/billing feature for overpriced software. And, the hardware is mostly junk too. Delivery was so slow, it probably consumed most of my trial period, after which I'll be charged for the device at inflated price. AFAIK, the trial period starts when the device is shipped, not when it is received.

Just seconding what jlmanno said. Do some research, try not to be overwhelmed by the flood of information, and then buy a decent e-cig.

New guy here and also one that fell for the Knight Sticks scam. I got it on Wednesday tried to call them on Friday to cancel after I discovered like NCC that there is a whole industry behind these now. There phone lines were busy most of the afternoon until they were closed. There not open again until monday I Googled the company name (the one on the packing list) and found out there is a lot scam alerts out on them. I went down to the bank and had them cancel my debt card. To bad a lot of people are going to discover ecigarettes this way. I hope it doesn't sour people from this alternative to tobacco..

Hello all, this is my first post to these forums, I have just stumbled upon this amazing community. I too have ordered a cleansmoke starter pack. Anytime I see the words "free trial" I am always sure to read the terms and conditions VERY carefully! I think the following may interest you:
"6. If You are not satisfied with the Product and wish to cancel future deliveries of the Product, You must call Our Customer Service Department at +4326822059342 prior to the expiration of the Free Trial Period and cancel Your order. You need not return the Product to LB CyberNet Entertainment Ltd if You cancel within the Free Trial Period.
Please note, if You fail to call us prior to the expiration of the Free Trial Period, Your credit card will be charged for the Product that was shipped to You."

I was especially interested in the part about not needing to return the product. I suspect mailing it back to them is not going to accomplish anything.
So a couple days after ordering, I called customer support to verify it had been shipped, and cancelled further shipments then and there. In theory I should now be getting the rn4081 starter kit and a months supply of cartridges for $4.
Also would like to share that I found a toll free number so you don't have to rack up your phone bill, I thought I would share it here.

I will post my results of this little experiment on this board at a later date. I made my order Jan 10 and it was shipped Jan 13. So we shall see when it arrives and if they attempt to charge me more.

Yeah I did fail to read the fine print before ordering. I'm going to watch my CC for the next couple of weeks and see if they charge it. If so I'm going to dispute it before the shipment even gets here. I did email them from their website stating I wanted out which is suppose to be good enough according to their policy. Any way I'll chock it up to a learning experience. What gets me is I should have known better. Just couldn't get past the "free trial".

Any way I've now ordered an M401 deluxe starter and some extra juice from another place. The juice should be here by the middle of next week. I'm saving my carts from the clean smoke and going to see if I can refill them. I must say I do enjoy it but this rn4081 (the clean smoke hardware) isn't my favorite. Just doesn't seem to have much vapour. The taste of the clean smoke carts are okay but I would like a little more flavour. I'm not even sure these things have much nicotine in them.

Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only dummy that falls for these things. Just glad I found this place and all the video's, how-to's and the other vendors. I'll post about my first experience with the M401 when I get it.

All them free trials are like that. I did it with Gavalia coffee, I got the free pot and cancelled and they sent the next shipment anyway but I called the bank and stopped any payments so I got the coffee free too. That was 5yrs. ago and I haven't tried no more free trials.

Look at the approved supplier list on this forum. You won't have to worry about recurring charges and prices will be a lot cheaper for quality product.

Also I think the most important thing to know about this perticular 'cleansmoke' company is that the 15 day free trial starts the moment you place the order, virtually guaranteeing that it will have expired by the time you receive it. That's why it's important to cancel as soon as it is shipped, just to be safe. it's technically not a scam, but it's not the most honest way to conduct business either. You've been warned.

Here are a couple pics I took. The first is of just the box they shipped everything in. Second is whats in side. It came with one battery, one atty, 10 pre-filled (with not much maybe a couple of cigs worth) carts and a USB charger. What's not shown is the car cigarette charger that also came with as its currently out in the car. Like the others you just plug the USB charger into the car cig converter. Over all not bad for free. I don't mind the taste (kinda sweet but pleasant) but the amount of vapor and throat kick just isn't there for me.

Very cool, thanks for that. FYI I hear some users on these forums and elsewhere have had some success in getting more vapor out of a similar model by plugging one of the holes where the atomizer connects to the battery. Worth a shot for that extra kick, if this is indeed a rn4081.

Urban you did better on your "trial offer" then I did with the Knightstick, I got two carts (not refillable) both were drained in a couple of days, one battery that work most of the time and a really cheezy little USB charger, oh and a cardboard box that looked like a cigarette pack. I finally got it canceled after three days of trying to contact them via phone. Now I got a 501 starter kit coming from the ladies at Cignot, what a difference dealing with those wonderful people..

Oh ya, one more thought came to mind. What was the return address on the package you got? Are they shipping these out from Canada? Not sure if they could ship with any nic in the carts if it's coming from overseas?

They where shipped from the UK. I'm not sure if they had any nic in them or not. I do know that its the only thing I "smoked" last Sunday and I didn't crave an analog at all. Either way I'm hook on e-cigs. Found a neighbour who hooked me up with one of his e-cigs with a bunch of filled carts and even more empty ones. He also filled one of my CleanSmoke carts. I've got a 402 kit on the way (should be here Friday) and some e-juice just arrived at my door. Speaking of which I can't wait to try it out so I got to get home from work. .....it's been 10. No sign so far. The juice I ordered from vapables two days ago beat it here! Now I got juice and no e-cig Ready to order my 510 starter kit if it's not here Monday.

Speaking as someone who fell for this trial deal, I'd advise you to cancel it as soon as possible (before your 15 days are up and they end up charging your credit card) and go ahead and order the 510. Trust me...you'll be much happier.
