Clearo users: Ever stop using a juice you like because it's a coil gunker?

I have been enjoying Suicide Bunny's OB a lot, vaping with 2.2 coils on an iTaste with a Mini Davide at 6.5 to 7.5 watts. I can't seem to get a coil to last for more of a tankful before the taste quality really suffers. When I remove and look at the coil it is so gunked up you can't even see the coil. I also vape SB's Mother's Milk and don't have this problem. I'm debating whether I want to re-order OB, much as I enjoy it, because of the coil issue; replacing a coil for every couple of ml of juice is getting to be a bit much, I do rebuild them, but still....

Anyone else stop using a juice because of coil issues? Dripping is not something I want to get into yet, so not a solution for me at this time. I've tried a bdc but it doesn't wick the OB well. OB doesn't look unusually thick, I've purchased it from 2 different vendors so I'm not sure if it could be a batch issue. Ideas?

I know you said no drippers. That being said, it's time for a dripper! Pull the wick, dry burn, good to go!

I had to pull the Boba's Bounty out of my KFL for that very reason. I can't match the flavor, but I got tired of rewrapping and wicking everytime I emptied the tank. Dry burning didn't do any good because it just gave off a metallic burnt taste. Such a shame.

I'm bummed over it, OB would definitely be in my adv rotation if not for this issue.

Anyone think a carto would work better?

Depends - if it's 100% vg you may need to thin it down a bit. I vape Boba's Bounty in my Reo with RM2. I do have to change the cotton everyday, but I just dry burn the coil and it's good to go - for weeks! I actually put in silica instead of cotton this morning and will see if that lasts longer. BB is so strong I'm not noticing a flavor difference with the silica - which is unusual for me.

I'm not sure of the Suicide Bunny OB's pg/vg ratio, I can't seem to find a definite answer on that. If I were to guess I'd say 50/50.

You should be able to dry burn the coil and make it as good as new - don't toss them out! And it should work fine in a carto if it's anywhere near 50/50. I much prefer cartotanks to clearos - which I almost never use anymore.
