I'm going to put in a word for "steeping" (aging, maturing) here: If the juice was made very recently, the flavor may be dull and/or soapy. This is even more likely to be true of complex flavors (e.g. caramel apple rather than simply apple)-- they need time to blend. Many "tobacco" flavors such as RY4 are complex.Ive had a problem with juices - I can't taste many of them.... I finally found a B&M shop and tried a few different flavours. Thrilled to bits that I could taste them, I bought a few.
But now I'm home, settled back to enjoy them and they taste rubbish! They're no better than any of the others Ive tried.
Try putting your complex flavors away for a week or two, or even longer. If you want to speed the process a little, some people claim to have success with leaving the cap off for a few hours and shaking the bottle periodically.
