Day 2 with my new KGO kit and I have a few issues. Woke up this morning and fired it up. The throat hit seems a bit more harsh then yesterday, less vapor, and the tip almost feels hot at the end of a drag.

I unscrewed the clearomizer and there was juice on the battery, not a whole lot but there was def juice there.

The ones I have:

I left the clearomizer on overnight with the unit sitting upright. Was the the correct way to store it? I took it all apart and wiped/blew it out and left it disassembled for a while. A couple drags later it seems to be okay but I'm not sure what happened. I did not over tighten.

That would happen every now and then with my Vision V2, and I was never really able to find a cause for it. Actually my last Vision V2 leaked so badly I actually considered taking it out and shooting it (thought better and kept it around for "just in case" repair).

With my Smok ReDux it only happened once and it was my own fault, the mouth piece didn't sit flush with the silicon grommet.

Check how the tube (the plastic part with the metal rings on top and bottom) seats.if you gently manipulate the tube, it might wobble a bit.try to make sure it's straight. Also check how the coil(the silicon thingie) lines up with the tip(bottom of mouthpiece) Juice seems to get up there and just syphon out if its not lined up right
I have found that when the coil and tip don't line up, it's because the tube itself is "wobbly".

Hi rdean2954,
Ive been using that type clearomizer since june and don't believe you have a problem that serious. That drop of liquid on the battery seems normal for that type clearomizer and i get it fairly often. Its a bad design with that potential to leak on the battery. I never fill it as high as the wicks, try to keep it upright and check the top of the battery often. I store mine as you and don't see a problem. If and when you get a drop on the battery, and you wipe it up, it usually goes back to normal as you said. I nice clearomizer to try in the future, that ive had no leak on battery with since sept is the Kanger T2.

I love my little clearos, but they are finicky. If left upright for too long (sometimes just for a few minutes) you have to tip it or twirl it around to keep the wicks wet. As far as leaking, I figured it out and haven't had a problem since. 1) Don't fill them up all the way; 2) After you fill it, roll up a little piece of paper towel and slid it up the bottom hole. Do that a couple of times, until the paper comes out dry. If, at some point, you tip or twirl it too aggressively, you have to repeat step 2.
