Has anyone tried out these clearo\carto hybrids? It's basically a vision style stardust clearomizer, but with a tube in the middle that has some cartomizer type filling, but also has a wick and coil at the top. All of the cartomizer, wicks, and coil are concealed in a metal tube with holes in the side to keep everything wet with juice; kind of like a cartomizer tank does.

Not even sure what their called, some sites have them listed as CE5's. The store by my house calls them V4i's. I picked up one the other day from my local shop, but it had a super bad chemical type taste (same as some of the generic wicking clearos do, the ones you have to boil before using) to it. I soaked it last night and am going to try it again today to see if it tastes any better.

I love this idea, and to me it seems like it will work better than the normal clearos do and cut down on the dry hits. I’m just looking for a good company or site to buy them from. Let’s be real, the clearos look the best on an ego battery…. But the performance is less than adequate. This could be the solution I’ve been looking for.

Nice, gotvapes is usually where I get my mail order stuff. The blue one in the picture I posted you can take apart just like the rebuildable stardust’s and you can buy a new replacement center piece, which is the cartomizer\wicking section. It just screws on. But the initial taste tells me it’s some crappy generic company one…. Looking for a quality one. Might have to give the gotvapes one a try.
