Hello! I've got a standard KGO and KGO VV (3.0-6.0 volt). I've been using the Clearomizers for months now (the long wick ones) and I swear, I need to throw one out after only 2-3 days of using it because it stops working well, turns my juices black, gets a nasty flavor and hard draw. This is costing me so much money!! Does anyone have suggestions on another device I can use that will actually last more than a few days? I like being able to pour my liquid in and seeing how much is in there. So I do not like using atty's or cartos. I've tried a tank and the thing is so big on my KGO, plus didn't give me the vapor the Clearomizer gives me. BUT will go back to that if there is a great one out there.

I've also noticed the darker the juice, the faster my clearomizer "duds" out. The clearer the juice, they seem to last a few more days. So a device that can handle the darker juices would be great too since that is mainly what I vape.

Lastly, I've heard so many great things about the Provari. Can someone tell me how long the battery lasts if you vape all day long? Loving the KGO VV I just got and the vapor/taste it produces, but it's dead after 3 hours.

Thanks guys! Sorry for so many questions. Although I've been vaping for 8 months, I'm still a newbie at all the better equipment that is available to me.

I consider myself a heavy vaper and the provari with 18650 will pretty much last all day. The good thing I'd you can do the check battery function and see how much battery life is left.

I use the vivi nova tanks on the Provari. I just threw away my first coil after about 100ml of juice through it.

Some of my juices turn dark as well. It doesn't affect the flavor but I think it has to do with the sweeteners. I also vape at 5v so that might attribute to it turning dark faster.

YMMV

Thank you for your response! Question.. Are the 18650 batteries rechargable? Or do you put a new battery in each time it dies? And have you tried the Clearomizers? If so, do you find the Vivi Nova to be better with vapor production? And you mention throwing away the coil. So you use the same tank and just replace the coil when it goes bad? Is the coil & wick the same thing? Sorry, I know I sound stupid! LOL But that is why I'm hear, to learn more and get a better set up. =)

Get a mini vivi nova and buy extra wick/coil heads (2.4). Basically when the coil burns out, you'll just replace the coil head with a new one. There are new vision stardust that are rebuildable and can have their coil heads switched out, too. I haven't tested them though to be able to add whether they're good or not.

And yes the mini vivi nova produces great vapor production, though that might be due to the amount of vg/pg.

I am only a month into vaping and i was having problems with leaking clearos and battery having to be charged everyday on my eGo.
So I got myself the Lava Tube L-Rider Lambo 4, with 4 Vivi Novas and i am in heaven.
No more leaking, Vivi Novas are great, real easy a quick to clean every other day with a quick dry burn to be able to use them right away after washing them out.
The Lava Tube 18650 battery lasts around 2 days of good vaping

Next year I am thinking i will get a Provari but at the moment I got a kit which was a lot cheaper and imho does the same for the time being.

Yes the L-rider is just about the same as the provari but it adjusts the voltage down every time you take a toot the provari hits at what you set it at till the battery dies.

Maybe it does, but I don't feel anything. My Lava Tube gives me the same hit every vape for me, right till the battery is ready to die.

Clearos are all I have been using for about 3 months - CE2s, CE4s and CE5s (rebuildables)......are you cleaning your clearos? I have eto wash em and dry burn if the coil is gunked up about every 2-3 days.........also I have been using cotton and bamboo wicks - seems like the juice doesnt get as dark as it did with the factory silica wicks.....

I don't see me ever leaving from a Vivi Nova now, it gives great vape and flavour, they are so easy to clean, easy to fill right from either your 10ml or 30ml juice bottles.
Look great too.
I guessed on that with good cleaning maybe with how heavy I vape each day I woud need to change the heads/wicks once a month, so I bought three 5 packs of replacement heads/wicks from 5pc Coil Heads for Vivi Nova (Long Wick)
Which will last me a hell of a long time I am hoping.

Hi! No, I'm not cleaning them. How do I do that? I've tried rinsing them with water and drying for a couple days, using again and it doesn't seem to make it any better. Maybe I should be doing something different? And I keep hearing about dry burning but what is that and how do I do that? Oh.. And what do you do with the cotton & bamboo wicks?

It would be great if I can clean and reuse them. At $4.50 each and going through them every 2-3 days. It's costing me more than when I smoked analogs. It's killing me!

How are you cleaning them to last you so long? That is crazy!

Vivis are different to a lot of clearomizers. Here's a video on how to clean and dry burn. I don't dryburn - I just leave them to air dry while I use a different head. Vision vivi novas come with three heads: 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8 ohm. You can buy spare heads really cheap too. I don't make my own wicks although it probably isn't hard.

i use both the mini nova and 2.5 nova and still using the stock heads that came with them. the biggest thing with the nova's is cleaning them and if you keep them cleaned they will last. i have 3 heads that have been used for 2+ months and still no problems.

Wow! That is a long time! I'm going to try these and the new Kanger K3 and see which I like better. =)

my vivi is going on 100ml of juice thru it.... and shows no signs of letting up

every refill, take it apart, wash it out, dry the wick off, put the atty back on the post, dry burn at about 4.8-5v until it stops smoking and the coils are nice and bright, screw tank back on, refill, continue vaping.... lol

i run my vivi nova on a provari about 4.3-4.5v, and my battery lasts all day.... go thru a tank, sometimes a tank and a half of joose a day

Thank Dingo! I'm afraid I have a "problem". A "I love my juice so much I want to suck on it all day" kinda problem. I fill my Clearomizer probably 10 times a day. I just can't put the damn thing down! I vape WAY more than I ever smoked. lol So going through those steps multiple times a day sucks. But I guess that's my only option right now if I want to continue vaping as much as I do. I'm thinking the tank is at last double the size of the Clearomizer? At last I'll only need to fill it up 5 times a day. haha
