Maximillian,
...
So, if you don't mind, tell me a little more about the notcigs - which do you prefer: The BuzzPro or Ipro (I assume this is the Infinity Pro?)
Also, I have no experience with tanks - but I'd like to try that, too.
Heyas jlazarus,
Sorry it took me a while to get back to you. Anyways, yes, the ipro is a common nickname for an infinity pro. And bp is the buzz pro. Both from notcigs. You should stop by their forum here:
Notcigs ,
You'll see that the guy who designs the notcigs mods, Mike aka "Buzzkill" reads the forums and posts pretty much daily. In fact, I recieved my ipro on a saturday, had a small issue with it and emailed him on a sunday morning, and actually had a reply with a fix a few hours later. On a sunday morning! You can't beat that kind of customer service.
Of the two, as others have stated, they have the exact same internal circuitry, and battery life seems comparable. Form factor is really the only practical difference. My personal preference is for the buzz pro. But, only because I like the way it fits in my hand better. And that will be different for everyone. Plus, with the bp being a woody, it holds a special place in my heart, so that might bias me a bit. The bp is definately my favorite pv all around. But, with the sale they have right now, the ipro kit is $110 to the $149 for the bp kit (I think). You could always order one of each, and you and the hubby could try both, and each have one to use. They really are both wonderful pv's, and neither of you would be the loser going that route
As for carto tanks, I do like and use them. For high end, there are some hand blown glass tanks available here
Glass tanks - notcigs.com , and here
Phiniac Glass . Probably other places also. Those are just the two I know of. I don't own either of those, btw, just thought they were cool and wanted to throw that out there
A carto tank is basically just a carto that has a hole punched or cut into it near the base, inserted into a plastic or glass tube and sealed with a grommet at each end. You fill the outer tube with juice, and it continually wicks into the carto filler through the hole. So, you get the vape of a carto, but can vape several ml of juice between refills, depending on the size of the tank. The carto tanks I have are the least expensive I've found so far, and they work just fine. I use the chibi tanks from Parkes
Carto Tank Mods . They're 8 bux, and that's with a carto. You can buy pre punched or pre slotted cartos for use with the tanks, or (and I haven't tried this yet, but it's in my near future) you can go to home depot, etc. and buy a "saddle valve" for like 7 clams which can be used to easily punch your own cartos. So no extra cost on the cartos, and use whatever you like best.
If you like ce2 type cartos, you can also get tanks for them. I've heard very good things about the Arry ce2 tank found here
Arry CE2 Tank - $29.99 : Stormys Vapor Cellar, Electronic Cigarettes & More or Parkes (once again) sells the Acorn tank for ce2's. The acorns are only like 10 or 12 buckazoids (I forget exactly), and seem to work as well as an unmodified ce2. Which for me means fan-freakin-tastic vaping (when it's not singing or leaking which is still most of the time for me

). I'm still behind the learning curve with ce2 type cartos, but in case you like them, thought I'd mention it.
lol. I do love to talk vape gear

p.s. I just couldn't resist posting a few pics of my bp here. Her name is Baby
