So I have been vaping for almost a year. Have not had one analog. I started with a 510 and then went to the ego t. I was pretty happy but I just did not get that long out of the atty and they get pretty expensive. I was only getting like 2 weeks out of them. So I was looking for an alternative and wanted to try a cartomizer. I bought a 3.5 ml clearomizer called xpressomizer from ecigexpress. Not sure if I like it yet. It seems to be very inconsistent. Sometimes I get a hit that is better then anything I have ever had with a tank or 510, but it only will last a few puffs, then gets bad and dry. If I mess with the mouthpiece it seems to sometimes help. Is there something I am doing wrong? If I could get it to work all the time, it would be a great find for me. Maybe someone could suggest a different kind that would be more consistent? Thanks

I use Clearomizers all the time but never tried this version. They basically look the same with larger capacity so the thing I'd recommend is fliping it before you vape, just long enough for the liquid to run up around the coil. Once I started doing that I get consistent hits every time. If you don't flip it and the tank starts getting low gravity takes over and the wicks can't get liquid to the atty fast enough.

Howdy nordoe,

I'm a hawg about the Fluxomizers, and think I would probably like your HUGE clearomizer, too. Posters often say Fluxos are inconsistent, but if you mod them, they work great. I can attest to how wonderful they are after moding slightly.

I don't know how your innards are arranged, but watch the video from Gotvapes.com to see if it can help you.

These things are the BEST vaping experience I've ever had, so don't give up just yet!

Also, if you're able to make a simple mod to improve performance, please let me know. I might want one of those bad boys, too!

What PG/VG juice are you using? Reservoir cartos like the thickness of 30% or less Vg though some thinner 50/50's may work.

And those CE2 clearomizers often have to be modded to relieve pinching of the wicks - something like removing both seals and then enlarging the notches by cutting the tiniest bit off all around the notch of the seal, then you need to get it all back together? Never done it myself.

There are newer CE3 aka Smokymizer aka Deluxe Fluxomizer at Gotvapes.com. They might be better.

I did notice that flipping it upside helps, I was trying to figure out where the coil was, so I guess its towards the mouthpiece? The problem with that was I started getting a little juice in the mouthpiece. Also right now I am using a clear 100percent pg. Just ran out of vg, but more is on the way. What about the dual coil cartos, any of you guys try them.

I have the Fluxomizers and have found that it is better to just take them apart and fluff the wicks by hand. They are wound clockwise. I just take the wicks at the top and wind them counter clockwise a bit and move them around to fluff them.

Put the tube back on and then you can fill it before you put the plugs back on.

Make sure that you put the bottom plug on so that the wicks are in the grooves on the plug. Then put on the middle plug and then the top plug or a drip tip instead of the top plug.

When I do this, I do not have to flip it upside down at all.

When you have to fill it up again, all you have to do is use a syringe in the teeny tiny holes in the bottom plug.

All I do to the fluxes is remove the inner plug with the grooves for the wicks and toss it. Only put the center plug back in and a drip tip. I have no wicking issues at all. I have been vaping 100% VG juice in them and they wick fine until about a third juice remaining. 70/30 vg/pg juice I can vape them empty. Pull the plug, fill and re install plug. It takes me no more time to fill them modded than a carto. I can make them last a month with cleaning and dry burn at the first sign of wicking issues.

I read some other posts that also say to toss the bottom plug with the grooves.

The main reason that I do not do this is because I don't want leakage.

Doesn't the bottom plug prevent leakage if you want to lay your PV down?
