Well I have my first RBA coming - I chose the Tobeco clone of the kayfun Lite/Russian 91% - if I love it I will order the real deal. :)

I used Rebuildable Atomizer Systems to check out reviews and info (of course watched some youtubes too) and just looked for one that seemed to have overall good performance and enough simplicity to not be terrifying LOL.

Ive done rebuilds for my igo w so maybe i'm ready and i have a ohm checker i got from 101 vape i'm pretty sure i'm ready just want to be on a low budget i was thinking nemesis clone + charger + batteries + rba

Good choice.

I am planning an order of

Nemesis clone (cheap)
Kick 2 (not cheap)

to use with my two RBAs.

:)

Until then, I'm sticking with SID or KTS.

In the world of rba's you pretty much get what you pay for. Sure you can find ok clones that will work and vape well, but the investment into a quality rba is well worth the money. It will last for years and won't end up in the not used anymore drawer.

Every clone rba that I have purchased has left me disappointed, and are not used anymore. Sure they vape well, but when stacked up to my Authentic collection, they just don't deliver the goods and the quality is quite lacking.

For the OP, a decent choice for a PT replacement would be the Aspire Nautilus BCD or even the Aspire BCD. Like the design of the new Nautilus better since the went with a side air intake and it holds more juice. Don't personally own one, but if I wasn't vested into rba's and was still using a changeable coil atomizer, the Aspire would be my first choice.

Hey man,

I know rebuildables are the way to go and I've got a Tobeco Kayfun Lite clone on the way. But if you're interested in improving your Protank, you can buy the base from the Aerotank and pop it on your protank. You get airflow control and a sealed 510 connection, so in theory, no leaks. I haven't picked mine up yet but from what I've heard it definitely helps. KangerTech AeroTank Base - Sun-Vapers.com

Don't know how much different Kayfun lite is from the Rocket, which I've had for a month now. When I got it, it's already set up and ready to vape. It produces lots of vapors no matter what battery (mod, vv's, etc.) you use and is very consistent. My curiosity in rebuilding it already got in the way. And it worked just like the original. It's easy to set up. Just use longer wires to allow for easily tying it in around the screws.

One thing that might discourage you is the gurgling when it is refilled. Don't be, it'll disappear in no time. Let it soak after ten minutes or more and it's ready to go. It looks like a huge tank, but it is not meant to be topped up. 15 to 20 drops are okay and it vapes for long periods of time.

I really like my i Clears. Although thick plastic tasks that some juices crack, you could always just avoid those :p. For a rebuildable I like my nimbus dual micro coil with my kts. No regrets there. Nimbus and kts inexpensive and preform well to my standards. But do your research and find one that you like. I can't remember which rba it was but I saw one which had a ser through tank so you could see the smoke chambering up.. gotta find it will try to post ifi do

You can pick up IGO-L or W for $25 and build awesome cloud. RBAs are all about coil builds and quality improvement of high end atty is pretty subtle for most people. I have seen many pros using IGO for really awesome builds. IGO-W is triple post for easy dual coil build and have seen quad coils too. So, I would humbly disagree with associating price tag with quality on RDA.

Hi, I had a pro tank 2 for all of a day, and gave it away to a buddy. He used it for a day or 2 and haven't seen him with it since. Aspire nautilus is on my svd at mo and I'm quite impressed! The adjustable air flow is great, which in turn controls how much juice is coming through, more or less of a vacum. I have 2 reo's with rm2 (rba with micro coil and cotton) and while the sweet spot is amazing on the reo it's so inconcistant, over squonking, under squonking, leaking etc. so wanted to try something else and add to my collection. Love my reo and with still use them, but the nautilus come close. For a clearo it pretty good. Just my 2 cents.
