I love everything about my clearos. They are great colors and easy to use. I have three and love all three. I have black, pink and lavender. They are a bit pricey but I'll be buying some more anyway.

I really like my CE3's I bought two packs and love that they look good on the 78mm battery. They aren't hard to fill, just a tiny bit fiddly. They are very cost effective. I'll be buying some more of those, as well.

If you had to choose, which one would you choose? Clearos or the CE3?

No, actually. In my experience, I get a lot of vapor from both over the standard cartomizers. I just compared the two just now, and they seem to be about the same. Liquids may have a deciding factor in the equation, as well. My liquids are mostly 70PG/30VG, except for the SI VOLT liquids which are mostly PG, and it's the VG that seems to increase the vapor, while lessening the flavor. That said, my VOLT liquids are still producing a good amount of vapor via CE3 or SI clearo.

I should also mention, however, that I still use standard cartos, as well. Although the vapor may not be a voluminous as that with the CE3 or clearo, it is still satisfying enough for me. My main purpose is to not smoke, and I'm not particular about lots of vapor. Flavor? Well, that's another story. ;)

Clearos hands down but I like the CE3s for sampling my new mixes they are easier to clean the old flavor out and get ready for another mix to sample. When I sit down to Vape or leave the house I always take 3 or 4 clearos filled with my favorite juices and maybe a 10ml bottle or two for backup, don't ever want to have a syringe in my case, no notta. I agree, the more VG the more Vapor, I use 50/50 a lot just for that reason. I'm lucky enough to not have any allergies to either one so the 50/50 makes vapor galore.

You can clean the CE3's?

For me it's not so mush clearos vs CE3 but bottom coil design vs top coil. And my choice is BC and, accordingly, CE3s.

However, I must confess that I have never actually tried clearos from SI (but I've tried similar things from other vendors - it was bad). Sometimes I want to buy a couple from SI just to see if they are different from what I tried and didn't like before - but with new bottom coil syringe-less clearomizers coming soon not sure if I ever will.

I just rinse them out with very warm water using a syringe. after you fill and empty them 4 or 5 times with the syringe they are like new. It takes a little time but yes you can clean them a few times before you have to toss them. They are cheap enough and if I get to use one 3 or 4 times I feel like I got my money's worth. I only use them for sampling and being new to DIY juice mixing I do a lot of sampling.lol

Yes, carefully remove the silicone top using the syringe, inserted into the refill hole. Once it's removed, rinse your tube in hot water and shake dry. The metal center tube can also be removed/adjusted using a small needle-nose pliers, I believe Mroutlaw may have made a video for the CE3 cleaning.

Add; While I liked the CE3, I seem to prefer the Clearos with my X2, since I wear mine on a lanyard, I can hold more liquid and refill it easier when I'm at work. I do think the short wicked Clearos were better than those with the longer wicks, less leakage on the battery post & the thicker juices seemed to wick better. I get more dry hits with the long wick Clearos on the thicker juices when taking consecutive vapes.

I’ve stopped using the needle to remove the plug as it is very easy to damage the fill hole that way.
I’m sure what I’m doing is NOT recommended, but I remove the tube from the base and push out the cap with a pencil. I’m able to do a complete clean and dry burn to get the built up gunk off the coils and reassemble. Doing this I’ve gotten weeks out of my CE3’s and they vape like new after the dry burn.

As a disclaimer, if you’re not careful you can easily destroy the CE3 at any phase of cleaning this way.

I'm possibly not in the right thread here but here goes, I have an on & off issue with burnt taste. I have followed all different cleaning methods mentioned on here & MrOutlaws videos. I used the same juice and same ce3's & sometimes they have the burnt taste & sometimes they dont, I'm baffled. I will keep trying different cleaning & filling methods b'cos when these ce3's work they really are amazing!!!
I took this pic today....Both freshly charged batteries. Same juice in each & filled the same way. I switched back n forth between the two yesterday. Neither of them had a burnt taste this time around but one did have a tighter draw.
Today I noticed the colour change in the juices, its a MYSTERY, any ideas/thoughts.

Have you tried using a cartomizer with the filler taken out to use to sample flavours?, so quick and easy & saves using your ce3's

have you tried raising the center post a bit to make the openings bigger, sounds like your juice could be thick and consecutive vapes doesn't give it time to wick more to the coil.

I have done that with other juices but this time it was the same juice in the same ce3, I keep 3 filled with this particular juice & all tasted burnt which they hadnt on their last fill. Same with another one, it tasted fine but was getting low so I did a quick refill and now it tastes burnt too, its not leaking or any other trouble but just tastes horrible...seems to be a hit n miss issue, frustrating but I'll persevere, most of the time I just vape the yucky ones anyway cos I'm unsure of what else to try.

The coil resistance in the CE3s seems to vary a little which can lead to more "burning" which can lead to liquid becoming darker. I've seen this on the ones I'm using, but the darker liquid is usually just down around the wick ports, not the entire cartridge.

It was unusual on these 2 pictured because neither of them tasted burnt

I just used mt first SI clearo today and I love it. It took 2 weeks to get here, but I haven't stopped vaping it since I got home. I know I'm behind, I live so far away. My CE3s are on their way. Fortunately the first fill went smooth. And I took a pic. Because I can. :D I'm loving it - vaping some 70/30 Ry4.

I have experienced the same thing. For me, it occurred after I refilled it w/same liquid. I think that you still have to let it sit a couple of minutes after you refilled it. I took it off, let it it sit for about 5 min then put it back on, tasted fine after that. Hope this helps.
