Every 3 to 4 draws I'm having to unscrew the top to let the air bubbles out as I lose the flavour. As soon as I've done that flavour is amazing again. Really annoying having to keep doing this. It seems to start happening around day 3or4 of a new coil
Anyone else have this problem or know how to solve it ??

I have noticed that after a week or so of heavy use on my cleito that I will get a burnt taste every so often. I was thinking that the coil was either getting old and ready for replacement or just hot after several vapes in a short period. Now I'm wondering if it is in fact a airlock issue. I will try your method of allowing air in.
Other than that though I agree the flavor is great and best of any tank I have tried so far.

If the gaskets on the coil and cap are all seated properly and dry before assembly
you more than likely will have to resort to keeping the top cap very loose while in use
I would say try fluffing the cotton with a toothpick, it may make it flood, chance I would take
You could always put it aside for an emergency back up

Update, just had a burnt vape so I popped the top and instantly air bubbles arose to the top. So I have the same issue but at least I now know what's going on. [emoji57]

I am starting to have the same problem. Have been using cleitos for months and this is a new problem. Thinking that Aspire may be letting the quality of the coils slide now that the Cleito 120 is on the market. Going to try poking some small holes in the cotton (like people have reported doing with the Uwell Crown) and see if this helps. Will report back.

So, I've poked small holes into each of the three exposed pieces of cotton in my coil....surprisingly, I was only able to actually pierce the cotton on one of the three. So far this seems to have helped with the dry and flavorless hits, and my coil is not flooding nor is the tank leaking. Just thought I'd let y'all know.

4 Hours later, this coil is still working great. I will be doing this for all of my cleito coils going forward. Hope this helps!

I own a Cleito, and have experienced the same vapor-locking issue as have many others. I work as an engineer, so perhaps that gave me a leg up in solving the problem.

The issue is NOT the coils. It is the tank itself.

New coil, properly primed, tends to last up to a week (average about 2 days, in my case) before the first vapor lock incident. This is because the wick is new, good, and retains a nominal amount of liquid. Once the liquid primed into the coil has been depleted, the first vapor-lock incident is experienced by the user. That first incident also causes the portion of the wick in contact with the coils to scorch. Once scorched, the wick is no longer able to retain the amount of liquid it originally did. From that point on, the user's best resolution is to unscrew the top cap to equalize the pressure within the tank. Wick re-saturates; but since it now no longer holds as much liquid, the user only gets a few good draws before the wick dries out again, forcing the user to "purge" the tank yet again. Cycle repeats itself until the user blames the coil and replaces it.

This seems to confuse a lot of users, and almost confused me, into thinking Cleito coils were poorly designed. The truth is, the coils become victimized by the faulty tank design.

My resolution is: When using the Cleito, I keep the top cap unscrewed throughout the entire session, even from the first time firing a new coil. After a week of usage, I notice the coil finally begins to show some mild carmelization. But now, I'm replacing coils every 2-3 weeks, as opposed to every 3 - 7 days.

The key thing to note is: The vape-locking occurs from the very first firing of a new coil. Users just don't notice it until the new coil's first soaking finally dries out. That fact seems to be masking the real cause of the issue.

Interesting, I have been using the Cleito since it came out and have never run into this problem.
As my username implies, I tend towards the high VG. I suspect people, like you, who don't seem to experience these issues are likely vaping 60/40 or less. Less viscous liquids will probably equalize better than the higher VG.

I don't have a Cleito but I've had a similar problem with a Lemo. Mainly when the tank is close to full.

What seems to clear it for me is to cover the air holes and suck hard on the drip tip. Generally a large bubble pops up and it's OK for a while. You might try that, if it works it would be a little easier than unscrewing the top of the tank.

In my case it seems to go away when the level of juice in the tank gets down a bit. Might be something completely different happening to what you've got going on though.

I wish I knew what an air lock actually is, and what causes it.

Had this problem with my Cleito too... I got it shortly after it came out like a year ago... Kept happening over no over.. Bought the RBA section to fix the problem... Then there was another problem..RBA could not be worked on unless you drained the tank.. PITA.. After a while tying to figure It out I came up with a solution.... I threw it in the bin and got completely different tank.. it's not worth the hassle.. that's my advice...
