I have been using Boge LR carts since April this year without any problems. Recently I have experienced many problems. Most curious is the carts clogging in a matter of days sometimes. And by clogging I mean it is very hard to inhale through. I've got one I'll take apart later today to see whats going on. In the mean time I thought I would post up here to see what others might have to say.

Did you perhaps change juice? Some of the darker sweeter ones clog more quickly. I take a straightened paperclip and put it in the screw end and ream them out. Then I blow them out, then try again. If that doesn't work, I put them away in a bag to be cleaned at a later date (which may never come as long as I can pay about 75 cents a Boge).

In a nutshell, fill with vodka and blow out a couple times until it's clear, then do the same with very hot water. Shake it with a thermometer type of shake a few times to remove most of the water. To empty it out even faster, search on "taryn spin" in ECF and make a spinner. Drying methods vary, and dense filler will take a day or two. My quick way is to set it battery end down on top of a light bulb for 15-30 min.

A carto that's not completely dry won't perform well - tight draw and no vapor.

Sometimes overfilling and blowing it out will get the older juice out for the most part and help with draw. The center hole/tube may be constricted. If you can't see light through it, try using a thin paper clip or needle, carefully pushing up from the battery end, to open it.

If your juice is thick, 50%vg or more or dark with sediment, cleaning will buy you time but not much. Thin clear juices give me the most life. Good luck getting more time out of it!

I'm lucky if mine last 24 hours /grin. I like a VERY dark juice (I make it myself) and I vape probably two to four mL's through. I am a huge one from the Co-ops though, so 45 cents per Boge is still cheaper than the 7 dollars + a day I was spending smoking!

Carto's by their nature don't last long /shrug, so I don't sweat it! If you think they are expensive, try to afford a cig habit again! Most of us have put that money in other places now, and would be VERY hard pressed to find that money!

I toss mine if I have any trouble too. But if its just clogged from the filler, Ill unfold a paperclip and slide it through from the bottom to clear the blockage. You dont want to push it through or it will make it worse. Just leave the tank on the carto, put the paperclip in through the bottom, and spin the tank/carto on it until it clears a path. I just let the weight from the tank do the work as I spin it.

This is what worked for me, I soaked them overnight in distilled water, then boiled them 3 times using fresh distilled water each time, then soaked them in everclear and rinsed thoroughly, used a straightened paper clip to make sure the center was open and dried them overnight, then threw them out and bought a DID.

I use 10/90 Pg/Vg in my cartos and I dont run into this problem at all. I suspect you have a few leftovers from bogegate in your rotation. The statements about thinner juices lasting longer might only apply to Boges as my experience with Smoktek has been quite the opposite.

Never was a problem till recently. I was used to them lasting 1 -2 weeks and then I had seven in a row not light up or have a burnt taste. Was down to my last cart and getting worried. It worked. Thankfully. Springvapor made it right by sending me new carts. I will try the Smoktek and possible the iKenvape carts next go around. iKenvape have so many its hard to chose.
