finally got a chance to try NLV gold, and love it. but the vapor is kind of weak with the 65/35 mix, so i wanted to try a high VG version of it. did some digging around, and found this recipe that sounds pretty close to what i am tasting. im still waiting for the flavorings to make thier way to japan so i can try it, but if someone already has these flavors, id like to hear how close it is...

I just made a liquid that tastes pretty good. I got the idea for it from Ahlusion's Caramel Pear Black Tea, but I have never tried that juice so I'm not comparing my version to theirs, but it sounded tasty so I tried to make my own.

These are all TFA flavors but it would probably be fine with other brands.

Caramel Apple and Pear Tea

7% TFA Caramel
5% Green Tea (I used this instead of black tea because it the black tea smells kinda funny and the green tea smelled more tea like to me)
3% Pear
4% Apple
3% Vanillin (you can substitute this for your favorite vanilla/cream)

I gave it a hot water bath and shook it a few times, let it sit for 10 minutes and tried dripping it. As is, it tastes pretty good and I can taste all of the elements. I'll see how it tastes after it gets a chance to steep for a while but of course, adjust to your own taste. I like stronger flavors but you can lower the percentages if you like. Needs no sweetener. You could probably try substituting the fruit for something different but I find the apple works pretty well. The pear is a little bit artificial to me and somewhat reminds me of banana but it tastes good to me at low percentages.

Next time, try with the black tea at around 2-3% and let it sit around for a week.. see what you think. Black tea is pretty good, once it mellows out. It's even better, to me, with peaches and pears.. but I like the apple idea too :)

I have the black tea but it doesn't smell like black tea to me! It doesn't smell bad either though... it reminds me of gin and tonic with lemongrass or something. I will have to try it on its own I guess to see what it actually tastes like.

The TFA Black Tea smells like Skunk .... to me.

Thought I would give this a try. I like complicated recipes that are hard to describe. Maybe that explains why I have never found a fruit flavor I like. If it tastes exactly like something, I am just not interested. Of course there are always exceptions. Anyway this is what I came up with from my pile of flavors:

TFA Carmel Candy 2.5%
FA Carmel 2.5%
Hangsen Golden VI Tobacco 4.0%
Hangsen Vanilla 3.0%
TFA Kentucky Bourbon 2.0%
Cap Snick Snack 2.0%
TFA Bavarian Crème 1.5%
CAP Butter 1.0%
TFA AP 1 drop per 5ml

I don't have any chocolate so subbed the Snickersbar Flavor. In the ultrasonic at the moment and will post my thoughts after trying in a few days.

That's one of the most complex flavor profiles Halo has ever made, and they are known for being a little tricky with their knowledge in the lesser used molecular components. If someone figures this one out, they are gonna earn my respect for sure.
It's quite delicious, and it really does change drastically (for me at least) with every little detail in regards to hardware, voltages and age.
I find it to taste best with a dirty old coil and cotton wicking :p

Still trying to decipher the flavors in Casablanca... I'm vaping it with a Russian 91, and it tastes so complex... What is IN THIS STUFF???? Do I taste clove, or is it cedar? Even if I could find something close to this juice, I would be happy. Help a brother out if you can? If you can suggest any recipes that would be even in the am ballpark, I'm game to try. The search continues... Thanks folks!

I cannot stand the stuff, and cannot help with a clone, to me it tastes very close to ECblends Spicy RY4, which is pretty cheap, and may be worth a try for you.

If you are trying to get a Casablanca clone, start with FA Desert Ship and FA Chocolate/FA Cocoa. A friend of Don's at BWB let it slip that those are the first 2 main ingredients. After that, I can't help you.
