Had I known all these GrandVapor devices were coming out I would have made just one thread for them all.
I haven't stopped buying them since they just keep coming out with new ones - they are so cheap and work really well.
Vapemail showed up today from fasttech (took more than 2 weeks). But it was worth the wait.
So, I got 2 M16s in full brass - omg are these heavy. I also got an ithaka clone, oddy w/clear tank, trident, a few drip tips and some Liqua juice.
I haven't gotten to building the ithaka and oddy - but I had time to do some mix matching with my m16s and sentinels, plus built a nice dual coil on the trident - vapin some of this tasty berry mix Liqua juice :)

Had to take a pic with all my mix matched two-tone devices (including my Sig19s and Ehpro).
I don't know that I'll keep them all this way, I just started swapping things around.
I've also got a SS/Brass/Copper Private V2 coming from FT whenever they ship my Chi-you clone with it.

(yeah, sorry it's an iphone pic)

They all look so damn beautiful. Look at that, 9 hard-hitting, well functioning, good quality clones (+2 more in the mail) for the price of 1 of the originals. Purists are gonna go ape sh on that picture :toast: Even the juice gives it a nice contrast!

What atomizer is that on the PV2 clone and the brass sigelei 19? I've been looking around for a brass coloured dripper without having to resort to painting or plating.

Thanks man.

I had to splurge a little - those are actually top cap replacements made by Capitallvapes - AGA-T2 and Igo-L caps - I'm gonna need some more too: they have even more for different attys and should be ready soon. Here's a FB link https://www.facebook.com/CapItAllVapes?hc_location=stream
I actually got mine from KidneyPuncher (fast/cheap shipping) here RBA Top Caps - Kidney Puncher
I really want the reduced chamber RSST cap in brass and SS.

You know what that's what pisses me off about these mod makers. yes they put time and effort into there mods i can respect that but in no way does it cost so much to make there mods that they have to charge those outrageous prices. Like damn really 200 bucks for a aluminum and brass device? ...
There is a demand for the high end mods out there and they will always be expensive mostly because of the people my age. It's a status thing, like buying gucci and all that other stuff. It's that baller mentality and all about how you look while doing everyday things. It's quite sad. But then again I have never actually used a high end device, so my opinion may just be an envious rant. All I know is I am blown away by the way my v3 preforms and people are amazed when I tell them my set up cost me about $30

I'd love to buy the original after using the clone for awhile now, but there's just no way I can justify the price. The only difference that is readily apparent is the clone doesn't have reverse threading on the button lock. I wish more clones would start doing the reverse threading.

I read on this thread that the M16 clone has a reverse threaded locking ring. I ordered a few V3 and M16 yesterday I'll confirm when I get them :)
The weird thing is that FT crew told me that some parts are plated, some are not. They are not really clear about this. Luckily ECF exist and you are there to give me clear answers to my questions ^^
Thanks again.
Have a nice day!

None of mine have any plating.

The brass M16's I got from FT have standard threaded lock rings.
The SV3's I got from VaporBreak also standard.

The alu/brass PV2 I got from VaporTek is reverse threaded.
The alu/brass M16 I also got from VaporTek is reverse threaded.
The M16 alu/brass I got from VaporTek - the tubes and sleeves are not compatible with the brass M16's I got from FT.
The SV3 tubes and sleeves are compatible with the brass M16's.

Not sure if that will help anyone as there are a few differnent manufacturers of these GV clones.
And even the same manufacturer will change things up.

My SV3's have and Hgicar logo on them and they are compatible with the brass M16's and both have standard thread lock rings - I assume the M16s i got from FT are also made by Hcigar.

The PV2 and alu/brass M16's I have came are reverse threaded lock rings - and those are also made by Hcigar.
Go figure...

4thpower, How are those logo's on the M16? Painted or etched? I'm not really sure why they were added. Thanks!

That part about the VT alum/brass m16 not being compatible with the FT all brass one makes me want to cry. I have the one from VT in hand and love it. But I am concerned about the the longevity of an aluminum 510 connection so I ordered the all brass m16 from FT. I had planned to just put the brass caps on my aluminum mod for durability. I also thought it would be a better look since i run it in 350 mode while out and about. So much for that idea. Wish I would have known. I would just have ordered both from fasttech to start with. My aluminum model from VT does have reverse threads on the switch lock.

That was my idea as well; they are all made by Hcigar - I don't know why they changed threading between these models.
Especially from M16 alu/brass to M16 full brass.

I'm not 100% sure how they are inscribed - it looks like Cermark laser etching (or the like) - it's slightly raised, but def not painted.

Received my all brass sent. v3 clone from Fast Tech, along with the V10, V5 (3 holes), and other crap. Now that I got a mech mod, I'm scared of going sub ohm :( I was so excited to try super low resistance dual coils 0.5 ohms, but I got scared of building it since I don't trust the cheap multi meter I got from harbor freight.

Damn thing is heavier than I thought! Its even heavier than a K100 I tried at a vape shop. I got the copper/brass/SS private v2 clone from Fast Tech on the way. Hopefully the caps will be compatible with each other.

set your meter to ohms and touch the lead tips together. It may or may not give you a few .xx ohms. That will let you know the resistance in the meter itself. Then, search micro coils. Huge thread with all the info you ever wanted.

Safety of the Sentinel.

I drilled a few extra holes in the outer tubes just i case and i als made the holes in the center tube 1/16 inch.I dont like the idea if the batt expands and blocks the vent holes on the center tube. The holes i drilled on the outer tubes are perfect as if the batt does malfunction and expand the holes are ''offset'' from the battery.I dont care if i have a Holy Mod,i think it adds class, anyway, safety before looks.

Another good idea sir. Have you thought up anything for the floating pin yet? Thanks for posting!:2cool:
