It's a matter of sustained amps, 1.2Ω is my preference using AW '490s

However they are rated at 15C, higher than I realized

I use the same batteries and never go lower than 1.0-0.8 ohms but thank u for your guys concern I try to be as careful as I can be.

I also have some efests but have AW also. If there are better 14500 batteries out there I can't find them

The 15C was for the AW 18490s, would have to look up the 14500s, little light on options I believe, I do have the protected AW's for my better half's ProVape and keep the builds between 1.6 - 1.8...

I've got a mini 2.1 no sub ohm kit. I keep my coil right around .85ohms. I use the aw-imr batteries.

I've got a new sl/lp grand sitting here staring at me waiting on batteries. I've got two 18650 aw-imr batteries coming tomorrow (the lower mah version). The coil I've got on my new lp rm is at .725.
Any concerns I should have on either of those? Since y'all are doing research?

Different batteries, Cob was discussing the 18490 and 18650, if I understood correctly you were talking about 14500s ? Huge difference in amp output...
