@Hemptation Thanks for that clapton trick vid, gonna try it soon.
Yoode also makes clapton wire, but all the yoode wire is made on a machine in China, lots of machine oil or grease, soak that stuff in everclear first.
Grudge Vapor has all kinds of specialty wire - it's expensive, but it's clean and I'm either too lazy or too busy to make anything but straight twisted (or maybe now clapton thanks to the pen trick). Been rocking their tiger wire (great flavor!) 26x.8 in 2 outta 3 squonkers - straight duals ina Odin and stacked (single airflow) in my CAM Dark Horse - loves me some stacked coils! Got quad twisted 32s, dual stacks (quad coil) in the Zenith.

yea that is what I was saying to CH yesterday. seems like one super amazing coil dropped between the 2 posts of the Stumpy will be the bomb dignity. maybe even something amazing and vertical. seems like it will be great for single coil builds exotic single coil builds. I have been ruining exotic coils in my SOV 5k since I started squonking and for flavor, one single exotic coil with proper airflow will always rule the nest lol

Don't be scared to
Lower your resistance a bit tho. I understand having that perfect spot. Especially if you are using. Something regulated. But build a replica of your kanthal build first And then Go from there Overall. Wire is cheap. And in the end. It is worth experimentin a bit to find your perfect sweet spot Joe. Just food for thought. It's your Vape. juice it how you want brother.


And that sounds awesome EZ. Pretty amazing. I could never get my build right on my DH. But I am more of a restricted air flow Cheating to get the warmth kind of Vape head. Lol We all have our ways Glad I could help someone Is what we are here for

Btw now that everyone has already ordered illum has the dopest battery cases 4x18650 called a powerpax they ate the only ones that don't fall apart, I've been using them for a while, I put dead cells in upside down so I can tell what's what. .highly recommended.

Big thumbs up for PowerPax. Have 5, just ordered 6 more. Super durable, backpack/toolbox/briefcase/whatever worthy. Look sexy as all get out. Quality stuff.

I like very restricted airflow, mostly mtl vaper. The only way I can use the Dark Horse is single coil airflow choked down pretty much all the way, but with stacked coils it restricts a bit more and the flavor explodes. I typically won't buy an atty I can't run single, but since I started squonking that's no longer a deal breaker. I drive around 1k mi / week for work and w/ single coil I only have to worry about one hole for juice to spill out of. Squonking has mostly eliminated that issue, so I'm starting to build more true duals and stacked quads, as long as I can tighten up that airflow. Can't do that with the Dark Horse!

I switched to Nichrome 80, 30G, 28G & 26G, and haven't looked back. I've had two atties with the same coils since around February, I don't rebuild coils that perform well unless they get deformed or one of the legs break.

no wonder im hating this 26ga wire I have,time for some nichrome80 for sure.guess utube is something I shoulda checked out..lol.thanks for all the tips

They also have triple and quad twisted.

The wire on that site labeled Coaxil, is it the same as clapton? May have to try some of that as well.

What is that. 35-33-30 gauge T? That's ridiculous.

Of course that's how I made this build I am
Currently running. 4 strands of 30 gauge. Twisted tighly Then 6 wraps on a 3mm Twice. For duals. Dials in at .22. And fires right up.

One trick tho. Is to take 4- 10 inch pieces. And as individuals take them and place them in the drill. And straighten them. Then after straightening all 4. Place them together in the drill for twisting

Just ordered myself 25m of Nichrome 30 gauge, will be giving this a try! Also watched a few videos, the Tiger coil looks interesting, nichrome wire with flat kanthal ribbon wire in tangled. Got plenty of ribbon too so plan to try one of those out too. Thanks Hemp [emoji106]

That is such an amazing finish, texture and aesthetic. My favorite of the two I have. I have a feeling that you may be as blown away as I was / am by the mod man. IMO worth every dollar. There will be ATLEAST one more in my future. Prolly a sniper girl reptile.
