I find AW batteries overrated, and overpriced.
My red Efest 18500s last longer (in both senses), and take some real abuse.
AW 18650s are just not in the same ball park as Samsung 25rs.

part of the appeal is life of them. as long as you are within their safety, they get twice the charge cycles before wearing out than most other brands

I agree with you, Doffy. From personal experience I can say I get a lot more charge cycles out of AW's than I do VTC4's or 5's.

That little 18500 had been impressing me, I'm using an effest and I thought I would vent it for sure, I just pulled an atty off of my regular 18650 mod to use bc I'm too lazy to wrap something higher res. I threw it on there and it just worked, it was trippin' out, I love it.

Tom are these the flat top or button tops? Looking at RTD vapor and they have some purple efest 18500s described as flat top. Want to make sure I get what fits.

Yup, the epoxy is drying right now.

The effest 18500 is the only battery I've tried in the mini, I don't have any other cells to try so that's the only one I can say will work for sure.
