The sx mods are an 18650/10ml powered by the 75w, sx350j temp control board. They are $550.00 plus paypal fees. I have a small handful left in the first batch, when they are done it may be a while till I do another batch and they will be at least six hundred each.

I plan to once I get that nightmare mod of mine your making... Will be my first move in TC but from what I read Ti wire seems the best move

Yeah the fire button actuates a clicky button, it's like a 0.005in push. . . Like less than a tv remote. And with the power presets on the sx board the ramp up is incredible.

I was running tc in it for a while but I've been back to kanthal bc the coils last longer, or seem too. I'm still waiting to throw some ti wire in it. I ordered 26 and 24ga. Ti. I hope the res is low enough to use that big of a wire ga. I don't really know. I should have it soon, I ordered it a week ago and it usually takes about a week from london. I can't wait to try out the new titanium mode.

Titanium is definately much better than ni200, 10000yimes easier to work with, it's just as nice, if not nicer than kanthal and it preforms fantastic.

Just fyi, with the 75w firmware update, which adds titanium mode and econ mode, it also let's you jam up to 75 joules which is pretty cool. I hate when you can't go to full power in temp control mode. I'm running at 60 to 65j at 550 and the flavor is off the hook!

Nope, tc just tells me to squonk. I'm thinking of programming the dry coil warning screen to say "Squonk Stupid!"
