I'm a big chicago bears fan (yes, sad, but I'm also a cubs fan, so I'm ok with looking to next year)
Cerakote navy base, with Cerakote orange bears 'C' with this white stencil around the outside of the 'C'... hmm. Complex, yes. But easier than the orange bear I was thinking on navy base.
Meh. Methinks the stenciling of it all is far too much effort.

I totally spaced it brother. I want totally done brushing it when I took those pics, I wanted to make sure you wanted it first. I spent about another hour getting it perfect and I boxed it up as soon as I got done, no pics. .I'm sorry bud.

Well here's the lat 3 cookie stencel Cerakote job I did. I got stencils that weren't great, and they cooked of, and the colors didn't set right. You can see it peeled off incorrectly.
That being said this is what it comes down too. That's a three color job, you can do just two and leave out the white. One color is fifty bucks, second color is seventy five plus the stencel is at least twenty.
Now that's quite a bit cheaper than anyone who does cerakote will charge you. But imo that's a siht load of money on paint. And to be honest that's prolly gonna take me seven hours to do.... besides the fact that Jay Cutler is a ninny, the bears suck and the Cubs are even worse, I really just dont wanna do it. ..that's if in being honest. Lol.

See if you can find a guy who has Bears hydroprinting film that's your best bet. I can do the blue in cerakote and you can put a film over it, that is the best way to do a decal like that. It's definitely doable in just cerakote, and it's really not that hard, I would do it honestly, (and it would look good) but it would be cheaper and you could get a more detailed print on top of the blue with a hydro film.
Yes, yes, he's a ninny. I'll give you that. But I also don't think he's as bad as he looked last year. I think there were far worse issues than Cutler, lol. That said, I'll look into the hydro film. Wonder what dimensions I would need for a Bears navy girl with a hydro film
Meh, in my limited googling of such things, I've not had luck. Besides, it seems a little too much for me at this point.
I actually used to work for a company with a US office in Schaumburg, and if nobody was listening I'd admit that a lot of my family is from Chicago and they always root for the Bears. .. almost as hard as they do for the Cubbies...
If you look for hydroprinting on Chicago you might get lucky, must people who do it by the same generic kits w the same films, that's why I don't do it myself . You can get custom films made by it takes over a month and it's pricy too..

You can get film suitable for printing with color laser, thermal transfer, even inkjet.
Much like iron-on films or even water slide decals (think plastic models).
Personally for a custom job I think water slide would be a better route.

Then top coat it with a good hard clear (matte/gloss to your preference) either the stuff used with hydrographics or even automotive clear.
You could probably find a auto paint shop to spray it with excess from another job pretty cheap, as they often have more in the pot than needed which is just thrown out. Might take some time to fit it in. (Recommend asking at small shops. The big ones are less likely to do it)
I'm just not as recovered as I'd like to be yet..I broke my neck a while ago so I have to take it easy. I'm all good tho ... pumping out mods!
