I run mine positive side up, I had to remove a sticker from the side of the battery and it fit tight. A couple taps on my palm and the battery is out for a fresh one, I like the tight fit for bottle & battery so it's a thumbs up in my case.
Add; I hate the new "Quote Post" procedure, why the extra step????? 
Well since we're discussing battery orientation I'm now more curious as to who is running button top or flat tops? 
I designed it originally for vtc`s but since they are hard to find now and everyone is using button tops and other cells it varies a little, key is keeping the hole tight, batteries varry in diameter a LOT so I try to get them as tight as I can and still be abe to accommodate any cells.
Keeping the bottle tight is just as important, if it's not tight it doesn't squonk as well. Nto many people understand that till they use my mods, that and big fat holes in the pins, there its a trade off of strength, the walls of the pin get so thin it's can break...eespecially iif you try adjusting h the 510 without loosening the nut below.
I think I'm giving up on tapatalk , still can't login , if I can figure out how to post pics from the website I'll be in busines...sorre for the lack of computer skills on my end.

Flattops and medium buttons here. I like a little longer throw since I carry them in my purse. If something accidentally brushes up on a button, I worry less about it firing. [emoji6] Am using mostly Samsung 25R.

I just ordered my first one today. 18650 with the sniper gray. CH, I believe that's what you got first time around. I think I told you last fall but if not, we moved out of the DC area and back to SW MO.
Something I'm the forum got messed up. Supposed to be fixed.
There's a thread about it.
Supposedly deleting ECF in TT and adding it back gets it working.
Haven't tried yet though.
But it was an ECF issue. TT continued fine everywhere else. Only ECF was not working.
Edit: just tried removing and adding back and TT is working again.

Was able to get my taptalk back up yesterday as well. Haven't had time to "play" with and figure out the new format yet.

In TT there's no change that I've noticed (unless you updated TT too)
The web version isn't to different and a lot more like other forums I visit.
I think ECF needs to work on a different theme/skin, even better allow a choice among several.
I'm not a fan of the current one.
Nothing about XenForo make me think it's worth $140, or even $40/yr
