So obviously it's not totally finished but I did want to run some juice thru this new board. This is the newest version of the best board from yihi cigar. If your not familiar with the board it's 60w with one cell and 120w with two (series only) cells. It's capable of receiving updates to the firmware as well. The temp control only works when running a single battery setup, over 60w I'd imagine temp control kinda goes out the window in return for sure power.
I've run about 30ml. Thru this thing and as far as the board's preformance is concerned I'm very impressed. Being a mech guy and also owning dna40 devices, I wasn't too excited about it to be honest. The power is great, I generally run low sub ohm builds on my mech feeders and I gotta say this board can hang, again, impressed.
Other cool features of this board include power presets that allow you to save 5 settings that are easily toggled so if you like to swap out attys like I do it's a no brainer. Also there are mode enhancements to adjust your hits while keeping your settings dialed in: low power, standard, normal, high, and high+. There is a very noticeable difference in how these settings adjust your ramp up. It's very very cool.
Besides the board I will be rounding the back of the mod off, it will be a reverse tranny shape, a Bruce Jenner maybe. I'll also be recession the face plate so it is flush and contoured with the curves of the back. I'm having them cut with a water jet, the plate will be perfectly done and available in a handful of different kinds of materials, I just used the clear plexiglass because it was handy, I cut that out by hand, that's why well, it looks like it was cut out by hand. . aluminum buttons and cerakote will also be available.
