I'm a MtL guy and when my Yep mini arrived yesterday I was skeptical, a Chuff no 510 adapter available, I built a quick single spaced coil @0.650 2mmID on 28g Nic80, even @ ~14mm diameter it was super easy to build. The squonker Fills & Drains nicely, neat workmanship and placement on the conversion, and I like the conservative appearance of the cap, but could have done without the "Hand" logo, a minor negative on the cap.
A big positive for the outer top cap not needing a winch to remove the top cap while keeping it tight enough not to turn when adjusting your AFC. The AFC can nearly close completely in single or dual modes, the inner AFC gaps aren't wide enough to completely shut down air-flow 100%, for a MtL guy this works fine with the Chuff so it's a plus.
I originally bought this for the Tmini, but it was displaced by my Reactor... so I spent a couple hours last night vaping it on an RSM B-F with some DIY Drew Estates Isa Del Sol @10mg/nic, and more time today while posting here. The MtL inhale is easy, fulfilling and has a good feel on the back of my throat, ~6-8 chain vapes gave a good nic buzz and the top & bottom fins keeps the mod cool, chuff feels like plastic or thin Delrin, acceptable over a metal DT for myself. On the exhale I get nice density and volume, inhale and exhale flavor is above average.
Overall I like it's looks & performance, and it's suited for the smaller B-F Mods like a Tmini or other small Aluminum Box.

or sir?Spot on reveiw. I really like it. It is a true over performer. I bought it for the tmini too. But I first ran it on my svapiomo mech at .25 ohms my usual build. Wow I was pleasantly surprised. Lots of vapor and nice wet vspor too! I run mind wide open but the afc works great. I did experiment. The build quality is good. Cap has the right amount of tension and the afc works nice with good tension too. My one and only complaint is that my drip tip is a tad loose fitting. Not that it falls off in normal use but it has come off in my pocket.
I put it on the mini tmod today. Changed the build to 28 gauge 2mm 7 wraps running .55 ohms. Stills kicks ..... The mini is just plain awesome. And with this build you would never think your using an 18500 battery. And the bats last about the time for me with the higher ohm build.
The mini hasn't left my hand today. What a great little mod. The build is great. Not one complaint at all. It's smaller than I thought it would be. It also performs better than I thought it could. Very happy with it!

I left it in the door handle of my car while getting an oil change at wally world, came back out , got in the car and it was gone. I spent an hour at the place searching and talking to employees and even called the police to do a police report ( dont think my car insurance will cover it though.

Tom, I know you are a busy guy but it would make a lot of us feel better if you voluntarily gave updates on the SX mods. Even if nothing is happening, let us know. I've been paid in full for three months and, admittedly, my patience is wearing a bit thin. I won't make a spectacle in the public forum, just saying that a little info a couple of times per week would go a long way.
This was posted August 12. People are getting impatient and it's not hard to see why. Can we get a straight answer on when the SX mods will be shipped?

mine is running thin also,sucks when I see posts on here but yet my emails or pm's don't get answered.granted I didn't prepay 3months(only 1 month ago) ago but cash money isn't anything to sneeze at.i aint tryin to give ultimatums I just wanna know wtf,at this point im not sure if I want the regulated squonker,already sold a svap I had.but it was wood and I hated it!so I hope I hear from Tom soon.

Yeah here ya go guys update on the sx mods. Lot has been happening latley. I got one of them, the original back from the cnc guy who did the faceplates. On the original mod , the prototype, he had gone around the edges where the faceplate seats down into the back of the mod with his cnc mill, it looked great, better than I could do on my manual machine. Because it looked fo good I sent all of the mods to him to have him do this same thing on all of them. I got them back last night, they look great. Here's a pic, let me explain a little. The colored mod is just another mod I made a while back, but the groove the faceplate sits in is done by hand by me, I can do it better than this one is done bit not as well as the raw aluminum ones next to it. Those are the actual sx mods. I'm really happy I had that done, it cost me more money and took a little time but it was certainly worth it I think.
I've also added some cool features to the mod. I have added an adjustable contact for the battery. It's adjustable from underneath the cap to accommodate for a wider variance of cells. I'm also adding a plate to the bottom of the cap, made of g10 (good plastic) just to clean things up.
I'm doing the plate today and painting the first mod tomorrow. They are all done up to the point of being painted. The board's are all prewired as much as possible so the process will go much faster than when I build mods one at a time, start to finish.
I appreciate everyone being really cool about the extra time this has taken. I believe I am doing it correctly, I certainly wouldn't want to put a mod out there that sucks. There's nobody that wants to get these finished and shipped more than me, I promise. This mod is fantastic, your gonna like it. Thanks guys, you rock
