Question: how much different is a TC vape then any other vape? Is it that much better? Is the biggest benefit of TC vaping that it's harder to get dry burnt hits. How much "better" can the vape really be compared to the incredible non TC gear we all currently have.

it is for tootle puffers IMO, you can vape similar to a 10 watt vape, but with the ramp up of a 50 watt hit

i guess the real benefit of the sxj is vw, 75 watts down to about 3.2v on your battery, without losing anything

mechs for me though, getting excited about my upcoming dually :rickroll:

Just for the sake of argument, I'll keep my comments to the Tmod SX. I'll also add that I vape on all kinds of equipment from mechanical drippers and squonkers to regulated devices and tanks including DNA devices. While it is true that ni200, ti and TC control have a bit of a learning curve, personally I don't find them anymore difficult or fiddly than anything else. In fact, I'm currently vaping on the very first ni200coil I built for the TSX on Oct 1st as I type this. It has been in my daily rotation ever since. It's a single 3mm 26g spaced coil 14/13 wrap built to 0.12 ohms in a Stumpy running at 25 joules and 430 degrees. Granted it's been re-wicked a few times, but it's still hitting like a champ. The beauty of this unit is that it puts out a very consistent vape from the beginning of the battery or bottle until the very end and is putting out not only great production and a nice warm and wet vape, but excellent flavor as well. As far as dry hits? They simply do not happen.
Is it going to be the end all be all for everyone?, no probably not, but again, I will say this, of all of the equipment that I currently own, this TSX is right up there with the best.

Edit to add that once you have this device dialed in to your preference of build, settings and temp as well as choice of liquid, it's pretty much set it and forget it just as much as any mech.

feels great in the hand. I'm at work but all I can think about is going home and setting it up. I've never used anything other than kanthal but I've read a lot and am ready to give it a go. Got some 26 gauge T1 waiting and a couple of Samsung 25r batteries. I've also got some small round magnets just in case.

i snapped the friggin' 510 screw!! I thought I could turn it with a screw driver from the top but it wouldn't budge so I used pliers to turn the nut and I don't know how but it snapped right where it goes into the tube.

I'll have to send it back for repair.

How is the 510 meant to be adjusted?

Loosen the locknut on the positive screw above the feedtube, then adjust the positive 510 screw from above... Tighten the locknut again

Why didn't I search before I tried it??? I'm really stupid sometimes

Tom can send one out. If the 510 is the same as the mech, the assembly is simple to swap out

I did the exact same thing only an hour after getting my tiny T... Tom sent out extra screws, easy to repair yourself.

How do you guys managing snapping the ss screw? That requires quite a lot of force , unless its plated copper or something which i hope not !!!
(No offense to anyone if i sound like it , just trying to understand )

brass is an option, i think the default actually. the bore size is quite wide for ease of squonk. I haven't broken one, but tom has said if anything goes wrong from user error, it'll be that by not loosening the lock nut to adjust it

I snapped my brass screw too while loosening the locknut. Luckily I had a SS replacement handy.
