I'm sorry for the delay guys, I had a lot of crap, besides a lot of people I had to entertain for a week of Christmas that just left. I also hit myself in the face w a pipe and had to make 5 different trips to the dentist to get my face put back together and my teeth fixed. I also had am to get new air compressor that broke, that slowed down everything for a week prior to that. I had a bunch of Duallys and micros that were already built but I have to spend as much time as I have on the sx mods. If I have a dual that's ordered as well I wait till I have to paint an sx mod the same color and do the Dually at the same time....to save time, it's simply giving priority to the sx guys, and getting the others finished without taking away from them. Sx mods are all painted now and on their first stage of curing , I have added time to the curing process because the weather has gotten colder and I want to make sure they are totally cured, but I have to fo each one on three stages. The reason I do it this way is that it encapsulates the board and the wiring so it's not allowed to move, eliminating wired coming lose and solder joints breaking, in addition to acting as a total shock absorber and securing the faceplates flush and clean w/ no screws.

@Hyzer88 I don't think we've spoken here, I'm not familiar with your screen name, shoot me an email, I'm pretty sure your mods been sent already.

Man, I'm sorry to hear about the pipe incident brother. Had a very long wrench fall off of a gate actuator platform at work not too awful long ago. I turned my head as I saw it coming and it clipped me in the side of the head. Didn't knock any sense into me but it did split my ear wide open. That was my reward for trying to do things myself rather than letting my crew handle it.

May you heal well my friend and next time...Duck! :D

Don't hit yourself in the face with stuff man, that's nobueno.

I'm down for a torx keychain and then I think I signed up for a stumpy drip tip and maybe I dreamed it but a marquis drip tip?

In any case just heal up before you bother to make any little accessories for our stupid ecigs... I'm sure we're all fine with what we got already.

I understand and was just trying to gently remind those of us waiting, sometimes the unexpected pops up. Knowing Tom, he won't come on and gripe, but try to overcome & deliver as close to the promised time as possible... it's easier for rude & I to be patient we have a few to play with, Hyzer88 you'll be starting the New Year with a superb TMOD, what Atty you plan on using?
I'll be using a Kennedy that was modified to squonk from Catfish Atty.

What kind of builds do you guys recommend for squonking?

Just about any build you enjoy in a dripper will be good to go in a squonker. After all, it's merely like dripping from the bottom...;)

I would be more concerned about over squonking with the kennedy and juice pooring every were through the air holes in the device. I sold my kennedy 22 because i was having issues with it leaking out the air holes from regular use and i was only as they call it painting the wicks with juice not even using the juice well in it. but in regards to coil building on it if you have used it before on a regular mech the builds will act the same on the squonk. There is so many build videos for the all the different kennedys on you tube. if you have never used this rda yet go check some out and see what you may like for your style of vaping. the kennedy is one of those devices that you realy have limited options on builds because of no adjustable air flow so to low is to hot and to high is drowned by to much air. i liked my kennedy 22 at around .08 which was dual parralell coils 22 gauge 5 wraps around a 3.5 mm building rod. or dual 22 gauge 5 wraps around 3.5 mm rod coming around .16-.18 if you have to original kennedy with only one air hole instead of two on the kennedy 22 it has half the air flow i would recomend the same wraps and same builds as stated but with 26 gauge to adjust the ohms to the amount of air flow that kennedy has. hope that makes sence and helps at all. this is just the way i vape and what worked for me on this device. i allso had the top cap with the two air holes in it i forget what that is called. when i use the short slam cap for it i used the same builds but with 26 gauge instead. and i use 6 percent nic and 100 percent vg juice

Do you guys typically use top airflow RDAs for squonking so you can minimize the chances of leaking?
The only top flow that I liked was the Vector.... A side air Atty like the stumpy works great just as long as you watch your squonk

Vector has been my longest running favorite for exactly that reason, thump is my new favorite, it's almost as leak proof and has better flavor being a reduced size chamber. That's my opinion for sure.

I had the solution for the hot tip of a vector but they are all gone, if you can find one, buy it, trade a kidney for it, they are perfect. I can make you a press in permanent teflon tip if you want, it all extend the tip by almost half inch but that's what it takes to keep your lupus of the got ss tip.

Several people have recommended the Vector but i am worried about the integrated drip tip getting really hot

Any fixes for that?

Surprisingly the Vector doesn't get that hot with my typical .4 builds, I did finally locate one of Tbev's delrin top's that allows me to use whatever drip tip I want which has been a huge upgrade but mostly for the fact that I despise metal in my mouth. Prior to that I bought one of the Jay-bo comp caps for the Vector that also runs pretty cool but is also made of metal unfortunately, still it was even cooler than the standard vector top cap due to some cooling fins. Finally I have also heard of some people running shrink wrap tubing on the Vector built in drip tip that supposedly alleviates the heat concern.

Hers the next best thing, I originally made them shorter but they have to be this tall to keep it off your lips .

They press us, made yo be permanently inserted, prolly funk them up if you try to take them out. You won't want tho.

You can use any Atty you like, Top, Side or Bottom air, you'll just have a bit of a learning curve on how long & hard to squonk especially using a TMod... I've had leaks squonking a Marquis on a TMod & CAM-M,never on any of the other brands of B-F Mods I own, I think the tubes have a slightly larger diameter on the TMod & Cam-M.

The Lancia could easily be my favorite 22mm Atty if it wasn't bottom air... Love the Marquis, Stumpy and Manta for my 22's... the Atomic, Divo & Reactor are my old-school faves, all my Atties are from Catfish.

Oh, BTW Tom, the Micro arrived yesterday  another Beauty in the family, Thanks.

Glad you like it brother, I'm so happy with how well the Machine engraves, it's so awesome, I've got lots of different tooling for different looking engraving too haha..
Key yo good squonking is a tight bottle, Tom and I also use the biggest holes I'm the pins you'll ever get, that's another key factor.

:p I like it, threw a 0.852 single coiled Stumpy on it so I can show it off at work tomorrow, I'll be putting a Dual-coiled Manta/ Black AFC on it by Sunday afternoon. The engraving really is noticeable over the Black cerakote, and the aluminum body makes it light enough for my shirt pocket, tough to due with the Brass Micro.

I forgot about the snugness of the bottles in the TMods & Cam-M and agree it makes a big improvement... I'll throw in softness too, all the pre-Italian bottles are super soft, and I'm sure the Italian-edition bottles will get softer after a bit of use.

Once the Dually arrives and gets topped, they'll be a Family Portrait to follow, I finally got a decent Digital Camera.
