Thanks & agreed, I'm a MtL vaper and The Stumpy, Manta & Thump can suit our Style as well as the Big-Air guys. One Atty I forgot about, and I use two which are clones, is the Marquis. The biggest drawback to the Marquis is removing my crusty wicks without deforming the coils, hence I vape either unflavored or lightly flavored Fruits or TA juices with them, NET juice is totally out of the question without rebuilding the deformed coils.

The one other thing I like with these Atties, No garish Logos or engravings on the cap!

You're right there. I'm usually all about the air, but the Stumpy has grabbed me pretty hard. I'm running mine with two air holes open on each side and it's plenty airy and is really flavorful with a rayon wick. I haven't tried closing it off more and trying MtL, but I'd bet that would work equally well!

On my Stumpy's I run a single coil side mounted, between 0.5-0.83 ohms depending on the type of juice, with two holes and get really good flavor & vapor.
I just acquired my 1st TMod from Henry Etta, & put a Stumpy clone on it that Ross converted. Running it about the same as MFToms59 except the coil is centered, "with two holes and get really good flavor & vapor".

Hey Kaezziel, we've got the same Stumpy/SX setup! I find the Stumpy very easy to work with. Nice roomy deck and lots of air options. 1-1.5holes on one side for a tight draw, or 1.5 holes on two sides for an airier lung hit. Usually I mount the coil in a Z shape. Here's my last kanthal build with twisted 28 ga.

Both sides or just on the side next to the coil?

On the coil side only for a side mount, trying it on each side made the vape feel peculiar for me.

BTW, all the Atties I've mentioned are on TMods, the Divo & Reactor are on a couple Woodies I use at home only, the TMods go everywhere.

Yep! That is pretty much exactly how mine is set up right now! I don't know exactly what the build is because I'm still using the coil that was in it when I received it, but I did need to rewick, so I threw a bit of rayon in it. This is after about 90-100 mL on the coil and 40-50 mL on the wick. I did dry-burn the coil when I switched out the cotton to the rayon, but other than that it's been nothing but refill the bottle and swap out the battery! This entire setup has been a dream to use and I still feel blessed to have been endowed with such an amazing gift!

That's the same setup I run in my stumpy in the SX, I run it vertical, and fan the wicks out around the deck. Gotta love rayon, I don't even start paying attention till I've gone over 100ml's..

I like your short, pancake wick. I use rayon for everything but sometimes rayon has a tendency to settle and compress, unlike cotton, which expands and holds more juice. Next rewick will be a bigger, lower coil and a shorter pancaked rayon wick. I just love tweaking and tinkering with my setup. After a while, I'll probably tire of fussing around so much. But right now, I'm enjoying the ride!

Thanks! There is a really thin bit of tail actually down and touching the deck, but not very much. Rayon don't need much to suck up the juice! I'm still trying to figure out the best postition for the airholes though... the thing with the pancaked ends is that they kinda block airflow off from the coil a bit... wicks like a beast though!

It's a crap shoot doing that, sometimes going back over it ruins the paint, I agree it's sweet when it works, but it's a pain in thass when it doesn't, when it screws up the paint us back to the drawing board. I'll dig up done pics if the honeycomb pattern done like that, it's pretty sweet too, you might like that as well.

Here's some random pics, I haven't posted pics in a while. .
