That gives me 3 sources saying essentially the same thing, so good. They are both 900mah and same brand. I messed up one ego board and someone else messed up another so I guess the only wild card is, I don't know how heavily used the other one was over the two weeks before I got a hold of it and hooked them to a third board. I don't think me using one 3 weeks and the other person using the other batt for 2 weeks would have worn down from the manufactured mah by a too much.

The problem with that is they are both top posts only. I don't know of a charger built for them.

Take the batteries out and charge them in a dual-channel charger the right way and swap in a new pair. Takes 10 seconds.
Otherwise you end up splitting the charge and it takes twice as long for no reason and puts the mod out of commission.
If you were talking to me... Uuuummm... It doesn't take 10 seconds to un/resolder 10AWG directly onto the terminals of the battery. I've been charging my box mod through an 18650 charger that's been wired to a 510 connector. Of course, I've been putting a block of stainless steel on the button to fire it to keep the batteries connected.
Maybe a mid-press activated toggle switch would work better.And now we're supplying information to the community. Most/some people will fret about the differences between series and parallel and go learn. I've been in the high voltage community for years, and we/I see it all the time. The age old question of "What is the difference between Series and Parallel?"

If it was a matter of just getting "normal" batteries I wouldn't have done it. I just wanted to make use of what I had. I have enough functioning egos to keep me satisfied for now. I suppose I could have just put one battery into one of the old cases but...whatever, lol.
The thread started with atomizer mods and now we are on battery mods. Which section? lol.
ETA - Another reason I did this is I was considering an MVP. I wasn't sure if I would like the feel of a box and the additional weight. I find I actually like this more than a tube in that way.
