Quick question about inhale/exhale technique. I've seen a few people suggest that when inhaling whether a drip tip or chuff top to put your mouth around it loosely so that you take in some air from the outside to create denser vapor? Is this a technique others use to get denser/thicker vapor when cloud chasing? Or do you only take in air through the atomizer solely?

Any help is much appreciated, thank you.

Yes it work's, some driptips with side holes and rda's like the plumeviel and N23 that have holes in the very top of the rda around the base of the DT take advantage of the extra air injection to produce bigger clouds. I stumbled onto the technique you talk of just by accident probably over a year ago.
Anyway, here is a guy in a video talking of the same thing, is worth a look >>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yc3csQoWs_Y

Hey slippy, long time no see.
If you have a little air coming in from your mouth then you do get denser vapor. I am not sure how the science of it works, but it just seems to help.
If you have a doge with the chuff cap i don't recommend doing it simply because the doge already has massive, massive airflow. It depends on if your coils produce a lot of vapor too, its just variables.

Chuffs are good tips to go with. As I've noticed, the smaller the bore, the hotter the vapor sometimes. The chuffs and the competition caps (10 - 14mm diameter holes) allow a good amount of airflow through the drip tip to prevent the tip from getting too hot or allowing heat to build inside the cap. It also helps with pulling in massive amounts of vapor. But to get that vapor to plume up and explode on exhale is rather simple. Start by exhaling slowly to get a good cloud, then on that last bit of exhale, try to "shoot" the rest of your breath into that cloud - that will cause the cloud to explode and give you that distance.
