When I got my mvp2 I watched YouTubes on it and I saw some pretty good clouds. I think it all depends on your atomizer (dripper would probably be better) and the type of juice. The higher the vg..... the bigger the plumes. Good luck to you. I'm sure you will find the answer to your questions from someone here. That is what makes ecf so wonderful. Good Luck and happy vaping. :vapor:

You can but you need good airflow and you can chase them, I will tell you it is like a rainbow there is not a pot of gold if you ever catch a cloud!

Really one of my favorite things to do is make plumes in my kitchen.

You don't need 100% VG but the higher the VG the better, I can still turn heads with 50/50.

I never understood the desire to chase clouds.
Don't get me wrong vapor production is important for me as I find it satisfying, but at some point you have to sacrifice flavor and ease of use to keep up with the chase. I don't get why people do that.
"Look at my clouds bro!" lol

I too think I am missing something here. Why "chase a cloud"? and why the need to bring attention to the "cloud chasing"? Can someone enlighten me?

That last line is all the enlightenment you need... "Look at my clouds bro!"

People vape how they choose. I don't go "cloud chasing" but I do like a fuller, warmer, and more flavorfull vape that I only get from a sub-ohm build....It just so happens that huge clouds comes with it. All that matters is what keeps them off cigs. For me, vaping wasn't cutting it until I found the wonderful world of sub-ohm vaping.

To the OP. With the right build you can get some pretty decent clouds on the MVP, but you are going to be limited to 11 watts. I found a nice 1.4ohm microcoil on my MVP performed decently for what it was. If you really want to chase some clouds you should really look into a DNA 20 or DNA 30 mod or a mechanical. But be sure to do your research on battery safety and ohms law before you jump into the deep end. Good luck on your adventure and I hope you find what you're looking for.

Thanks, but that answered neither of my questions.:confused:

What do you mean by bring attention to? Is it your opinion it should be a dirty little secret and it's bad thing. Aside from being respectful with where you blow your clouds, I don't see what's wrong with how someone chooses to vape.

So to get back to the OP's question... :p You can cloud chase with whatever you want, but for the most vapor production, you are going to want a mechanical mod with a rebuildable atomizer. This doesn't have to be expensive! I can get a magneto (lowest voltage drop for the price. Low voltage drop=more voltage to the coils!!!) and an I-Go W (Basic starter Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer) to produce huge clouds. Just make sure you get HIGH AMP RATING batteries!!!! I cannot stress this enough. Learn about batteries, amps, ohms, and volts. Be safe. With this knowledge, find out how low you can build the coil (I suggest some Sony VTC5s... 60 Amp pulse for 45 seconds means its safe down to .08, as long as you dont fire it for more than 45 seconds). Although you can do super low, cloud pushers, my sweet spot for vapor production with great flavor is around .3 ohms. Do your research please! :vapor:

I think I am addicted!!!!
I do not drag any more unless I am on my Russian 91% or similar, I only lung hit (by default) I plume it up.

Well then. Yes you can blow a decent cloud with the MVP and a RDA or Genni. I would opt for a IGO-L (good starter single coil RDA) or a RSST. Either way, a 1.2-1.4 ohm micro coil with 28 guage Kanthal pushed to 11 watts will be a decent vape.

That question was in response of the statement "Really one of my favorite things to do is make plumes in my kitchen.

I never said anything was "bad".

I'm still fairly new to this but what does it really matter if someone wants to cloud chase. You asked why and the simplest answer is why not?

Most started vaping to kick the analog habit and if they have fun sending out a cloud why should anyone really care as long as it keeps them off of butts. Why bust someone's stones for getting off of smokes and having a good time doing it.

That being said, I'm in it to quit smoking and all the excellent flavor but the clouds are impressive!

I know what kind of equipment you need to make bigger clouds of vapor. I was just wondering if there was something to this "cloud chasing". I had heard the term before but I guess it has no real meaning besides a bigger hit.

Equipment isn't really what its about. I could get better vape than another less experienced vaper could get from a tobh or patriot. Its about the build you put on it. Also airflow. Dual 1/8 holes are suggested for the best clouds

No. What I was tring to ask was "what is cloud chasing" but people seem to be getting defensive so I digress.
