There is a lot of cloud chasers out the whether you want to admit it or not. I don't know why you would be offended to call yourself a cloud chaser but that really has nothing to do with this post.

Anyways I was looking at my Instagram earlier and noticed Ameravape is hosting "the biggest" cloud comp ever. Well that's good and all if you happen to live in California which I don't and sure many on these boards don't either. The prizes for this competition are some of the best prizes I have ever seen for a cloud comp. First place takes $1,200 cash + 3 Ameravape mods. I know a lot of people don't like Ameravape but a ton do so even if you won first sell the 3 mods for $200 ea so you would really get $1,800.

Ok back to the point I was thinking what if there was some way to hold an international cloud chasing competition. It would all be broadcasted over the web. You would have to pick your judges and set the rules on what you could run and what you couldn't. For example no stacking batteries.

So if someone was living in Europe about to face someone living in New York they would bring there mods to their camera and show details to the judges so the judges could determine and what not if it was legit.

I am sure people would cheat some how because that's life people will always cheat to get ahead but what if there was a way they couldn't.

As for the prizes go we could do something like $10 entry, hold raffles ($5 per ticket depending what was being raffled off). Or maybe not pay at all to enter who knows but it would be harder to raise money for the prizes etc.

I am sorry if this is hard to follow I was writing it while I was thinking about it. Love to here some opinions even if you don't cloud chase would you watch? Would enter the raffle to maybe win mods, juices, etc?

I think I understand what you're saying. One of the difficulties, to me, would be how to ensure that all the participants are actually following the rules, maybe have several vape shops world-wide share hosting duties, and have them check for compliance.

I've never participated in one (I only "cloud chase" at home) but as I understand it, some have some very basic rules - single 18650 mechs only, no power circuitry allowed, and everyone vapes the same e-liquid.

Also, safety would be a big concern. I recently saw a video of a young man vaping a 26650 mod that ended up venting the battery - his mod was so hot he was using a towel to hold the mech.

We don't need anything like that in a large-scale event.
