Hello JW,
Welcome to ECF and congrats on giving up smoking.

To replace your EGO, a very common upgrade is the iTaste vv3 or MVP2. Both provide 11W power which will increase your vapor and flavor production. They are relatively simple devices that still offer many features.

If you want even more power a VAMO5 is pretty good option. It goes up to 15W, uses 18650 batteries, and can be had pretty cheap from fasttech. The downside with this type of device is that you will need to buy batteries and a charger for it, which makes them a bit more expensive and complicated than the MVP2.

The biggest part of vapor production will your topper though. I would generally recommend the Aspire Nautilus but good luck finding one :) After that, the Kanger Aerotank would be a good choice.

The Kanger Aerotank is very good. I don't own a Nautilus yet, so I cannot comment on it, but I can definitely say you won't be complaining about the lack of clouds with an Aerotank.

As far as finding a Nautilus goes, I haven't had any problems doing that. They are easily available online. (If you are in the north Dallas area I can tell you at least 4 local shops that have them in stock.)

If you don't mind the hassle, dripping IMO is the way to go flavor and vapor production wise.

On a mechanical they blow massive clouds, now with a mechanical you have to read up on your battery safety (I recommend Sony VTC4) and learn about building your own coils and also about Ohms law (It's a lot simpler than it sounds, trust me).

In the end, your vapor production boils down to your Wick and your Coil. On clearomizers IMO you are very restricted on the type of coils you can build.

hey when I first started I was using a cig-a-like 510 and wasn't happy. Went to the mall and like a blind fool bought a kit for the outrageous price of $110 that came with two CE5 tops and cheep 3.2v batteries. Hated that as well, after talking to some fellow vapors I switched to a kanger evod VV bat and the T3S and Im extremely happy, taste better and a lot more clouds. Cant say what the best set up is but I find that the kanger feels better constructed and does a great job. GPC is right the higher the VG content the denser the vape, you sacrifice a little taste and a strong throat hit though. I am happy with a 50/50 ratio, give me the best of both worlds. I haven't tried an all vg juice yet, I would suggest Mt. Baker Vapor they offer the option to choose your PG/VG ratio. I haven't tried Virgin Vapor but I consistently here great things.

hope this helps HAPPY VAPING

Oooo forgot to mention I use a eGo-C twist that I like except the voltage numbers at the bottom are too hard to read, still does a great job

What LED said. I jumped right from eGos and those puny dual coil cartomizers right onto mechanical clones and RDAs. Never looked back and am glad of it.
