Vaping is one of the only things that has got me to quit smoking. I had at one time quit smoking cigs by switching to hookah, but that was short lived. I felt that setting up a hookah every time I had a craving for nicotine was way too much of a pain in the .... I eventually went back to cigarettes because I couldn't get my nic fix at work. Vaping has proved to be way simpler and I can vape at work if I need to without much trouble.

Had been smoking for over 15 years and went to a local shop in Antwerp, BE. They have no idea what they're doing really (daim shame) but I got my hands on an eGo and some clearomizers. Once I found some online shops to get hold of juice with a significant amount of nicotine in it (yup, it's illegal to sell nicotine juice in BE) and got my first vapemail, I finished my pack of tobacco 2 days later and never looked back.

Analog-free for 3 weeks, now I have a vaping and vaping gear addiction and loving it.

Finished my last pack of cigs around 1pm on July 25 and have been vaping exclusively since. Thrilled because I had never had success with quitting before. I'm sure the fact that my juices have nicotine in them helps, though I'm hoping I can eventually get myself down to very low or no nicotine.

Yes. I started here at ECF in 2010. Bought a "Screwdriver" ( yep, we're talking old school here) and started vaping.
I smoked Kools for 43 years and had tried EVERYTHING the medical world had to offer. Nada, nothing worked. I started vaping Nov. 8, 2010 and have not had a cigarette since.
If that doesn't make a statement, nothing will. My VA doctors were all impressed, but back then not many people knew what I was doing or talking about. I haven't coughed since about. Nov. 14, 2010. After 6 days of vaping, my cough left and never returned.
I have lots of health problems due to my exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam, but respiratory problems is not one of them. My chest xrays are great now.
Vaping saved my life and IMPROOF.

Not just once, but twice... When I got sick and couldn't vape, I found out within 5 days that my continued abstention from cigarettes was ENTIRELY dependent on being able to vape. So after a 2nd try of decreasing-smoking and increasing-vaping, I got smoke-free for the 2nd time, due entirely to e-cigs. Nothing else has ever worked WHATSOEVER.

Id say so far its doing a damn good job of it.. Tomorrow marks 1 month without for me (21 years of smoking a pack a day of Pall Mall reds!), it wouldve been another week or so on top of that but I was still smoking when I got my first e-cig (a GreenSmoke) for that first week.. I quit exactly on day 7, 3 days later got my Evod kit in the mail and havent looked back yet..

I have only been smoke free for a couple days now but will say that I believe it is entirely possible as it has been extremely easy so far. A couple of urges to smoke, but the cravings last minutes or a couple rips off my kayfun lite + and they are gone. I was not a pack a day smoker for the last 15 years but an easy 14 cigs a day on average. I don't see myself going back as this experience has been easy and awesome. I chose the kayfun after a lot of reading and believe the hobby part will also help me not want to smoke. I still go outside with my coworkers and wife at night while they smoke, but believe I am doing myself a favor by sticking with my kayfun. Good luck to everyone
